What do you think about extra 5% bonus per level to nanite injectors for Caldari logi? Skill for nanohives and nanite is the same so bonus should be also for both.
QRT30 - all Caldari lvl 5, core maxed
QRT300 - Amarr heavy/commando

4% / level turns the 80% needle into a 100%, the 30% into a 50, and the 50% into a 70%.

I was calculating with max level 30 * (5*5%) = 37,5 50 * (5*5%) = 62,5 80 * (5*5%) = 100
QRT30 - all Caldari lvl 5, core maxed
QRT300 - Amarr heavy/commando

kind of a bad idea unless you some how couple it with my thread about improving WP gains from all meta levels of injectors so that could leave a caldari to use injector+armorrep hives (untill proto where they get 3 slots for equip)
Minmatar Logibro in training. Rusty needles anyone?

I've been advocating for this for a while. (+1)
100% armor regen at proto CalLogi would be a serious reason to start running needles...particularly higher quality ones.
The WP equity for triage points vs the rep tool clearly needs to be addressed. Seems pretty obvious, both tools can provide HP and should get the similar WP awards.
Logi tribe needs to rally on this one a bit and push for it to be in the next hotfix.

I fully support every racial logi gaining some bonus to a second equipment type. This works well for Cal.
Fixes to equipment rewards are desperately needed (and should likely happen first but that's it's own issue).
Second values;
- Cal - Needles
- Min - REs (number carried)
- Amarr - Proxies (splash AoE, or failing that explosive damage)
- Gal - UhOh ran out of equip (cloak is for scouts)
We really do need more equipment diversity. Failing that we could give one of the Logi types a non-equipment based bonus (alternatives)
- Cal - We'll keep needles, they make thematic sense and could provide some tactical synergy as well.
- Min - Repair module effeminacy. Keeps repair theme, requires mod slot use, is on the most fragile logi suit (which has to remain in combat zones repping people to use it's other bonus) so it's not prone to slayer builds.
- Amarr - Bonus to total Prox or REs carried. They're the 'combat logi' complete with side arm. Uplinks are already about breaching and holding tactical zones which Prox and REs would support. Slower logi frame so not going to overlap with scout roles in hacking or speak deploy of equipment.
- Gal - Reactive plate fittings bonus (or general plate fittings bonus). Gal logi are already fully tanked most of the time so this extra fittings would free up space for more diverse equipment use, and use of higher quality equipment. However without the supporting skill buffs the Gal would never eclipse the other logi for max value of use.
Drawback of the above proposal is the same as the drawback of almost every logi proposal, min-maxing the suit for pure slayer roles sans-equipment causes role/balance issues. Fix that be requiring equipment slots to be filled for a fitting to be valid.
Some opening thoughts. Cross

Well said, Cross.
Barring getting some additional equipment in then a little bit of overlap might not be bad or perhaps looking at defensive / offensive perks.
I think the simple solution could retain the primary and then have an overlap bonus. Cal / Gal get the nanite bonus and Amarr / Min get the RE bonus. I think that would be a fairly simple solution.
I would also so that the Logi tribe needs to start looking at the actual CPU/PG reduction for equipment. I like the bonus quite a bit , however, it's not really equitable against all suits. You are spot on in that all equipment slots must be required to be filled...exactly like we do with the primary weapon slot on the suit.
One additional thing that i would like to see is either a side arm or grenade slot for the Cal & Gal logibro's. The MinLogi gets the extra equipment, the AmLogi gets a side arm, and Cal / Gal gets an additional grenade.

Certainly a bigger bonus to equipment is welcome, but the last part I underlined is a little too offensively-minded. I could really do without more qq about slayer logis again. As it is the sidearm is very balanced considering the (overly harsh, imo) drawbacks it comes with in terms of slots.
I solve problems. I'm also John Demonsbane.

I see your point on the SlayerLogi hate. My thought was the versatility it would give you to carry flux & AV....clearing enemy equipment, softening an objective for heavies and assaulters, and AV nades to help your squad break contact from a vehicle rolling into you.
The baseline concept is that the equip / weapon / made slots should be equalized between the racial Logis. Then distribution of those slots I think can give more distinction between the races.

No question all the medium frames need work, and just like the Amarr assault, the amarr logi needs another low (also needs more PG, unlike the assault which has good fitting power), cal logi slots have always been amazing, gal slots are probably OK, maybe needs a little more inherent rep.
But, you got me thinking... how about logi suits get a bonus to flux grenades? 1 extra grenade at ADV, 2 at PRO? Can't kill with them, so no slayer logi issues, but good as a counter to the red logi's.
I solve "problems". I cannot confirm or deny that I am also John Demonsbane.
