About two weeks ago the members of Nyain San were kind enough to give my corporation a shot at Planetary Conquest by giving us a district. Initially, we sat on the district in order to gather funds for clone packs and once we gained enough ISK we began launching clone packs as a way of testing the waters. We recently lost our district and over the period of time that we had the district we participated in a total of seven PC matches. For a smaller corporation like us this was a lot. We won some matches and we lost some matches. Four of the matches came down to one clone or one MCC bar on either side. Win or lose we held our ground and the most important thing that I took away from this experience was that Planet Express can be competitive and that there is a place for us in Planetary Conquest.
What is the appeal of Planetary Conquest? To some it's the search for wealth but for others, myself included, it's the search for competitive fights that are not present in public and factional contracts. Like I said, many of the matches we played were very close and these were the fun fights, the fights that got your adrenaline pumping. Anyways long story short, I had a great experience in the PC world.
1st Lieutenant Tiberius recently posted an idea for a Planet Fight Club 2.0 where smaller corporations are given the opportunity to experience Planetary Conquest. I support this idea as long as corporations that are in Molden Heath for the ISK accrual are barred. Ideally, you'd have corporations (like Planet Express) that desire competitive matches that are only found in Planetary Conquest.
Since we no longer own a district I just wanted to announce that we have mercenaries for hire. For the corporations that we've fought you know that we have very capable members. These are the guys that excel in public matches regardless of what tier suit they use. These are the guys who have genuine skill at the game and do not hide behind prototype gear. Feel free to contact me if you would like to enlist some help from us and we'll fight for free. Planet Express has no enemies and we'll fight for anyone and attack anyone (except for our alliance corporations) so consider hiring us.
Lastly, this does not mean Planet Express is done with PC battles. Without a district it is harder to grind for clone packs but we will still be attacking people when we see fit. Our attacks are done with one thought in mind and that is the pursuit of an even competitive match.
Take home message: Consider hiring Planet Express mercenaries for your PC matches.

Kubo, first off thank you for taking the time to contact me in game, I have been a tad busy and haven't been getting on much other than to FC PC battles so I apologize for not keeping in touch.
If you have a team of 16 then there is no reason you should be ringing your team out; I will get you a district in Almur so your team can start PCing once more. Give me some time to make the arrangements but we will contact you in game.
Also, if the timers are right attack an 0.H district and show us what you guys got, no better training than trial by fire!

Kubo....just have the members in your corp grind out in pubs and donate to the corp wallet. You need 16 players for a team, right? If 10 people donated $5M/wk, your corp would have $200M in a month. And that is light work....you could get more members to donate OR get members to donate more OR get more members to donate more. One cargo hub generated a little over $56M/week...you guys can definitely fit that bill.

I believe ringing for them will be more detrimental to their development as a team more than anything. Ensuring that his team of 16 gets to play together in PC battles will build a better foundation for them as a corp, it also maximizes the amount of experience every member gets and not just having the same, small group of people play in every single battle.
Giving you a district so that you can deploy and train with your 16 corpmates will be a better solution I believe.
If the issue is not wanting to grind for clone packs to take a district then you could spend a week or two with your corpmates grinding around 50 mil ISK to go off my original plan and I can sell you a district on Almur, it'll be something you and your corp members can work towards to reenter into PC.
Either way I'll do my best to give you guys another home to occupy and send fights from.

The people in general discussion make the competitive players look like the bad guys. People complain about ISK and how the PC active players are able to constantly fund prototype gear. Well there is a reason for that. It's because they're good at the game.
The response from you guys has been very encouraging but I want to make one thing clear. Planet Express does not want to be babied into PC. Having a district was a great experience and it allowed us to put our foot in the door but what happened next was up to us. Winning a few PC matches was also motivating as it made me believe that Planet Express deserved to own a district.
I do not have a full sixteen. I could put together an amazing sixteen provided some people who haven't been on for a very long time came back but as it stands now I have only about a squad who I deem PC ready. Our matches were fought with our entire roster coming from our alliance and I believe each match had at least one member from each of the alliance corporations. In dire situations we did ask for players out of the alliance but we never had more than one person who was not in the alliance. For some reason I prefer it if a roster is only made up of alliance members.
I know my guys enjoy PC matches and I know that ultimately it's up to them if they want to continue to be competitive. I am not worried about earning ISK for PCs but I do realize that without a district I will be involved in less PCs because there will be no attacks. This is why I am offering our services. I would estimate that I've done close to twenty-five PC matches throughout my Dust career and members in my corporation have done even less. This is why we will fight for free. We're after the competition and the experience, not the ISK.
You all left some inspiring words and I thank you.

Understood Kubo and I wish you luck bud.
But let me leave you with this though; there is every opportunity for you to open up recruitment and invite other mercs to play with this core squad that you speak off and offer them an opportunity to experience PC under the guidance of your PC ready squad.
This core group that you have is an incredibly important component of a quality corporation. Just like what you have in Planet Express we have here in 0.H, we have a core group of players we call family and for over a year we've collectively seen talented mercs come and and talented mercs go, but at your lowest point you finally recognize those who truly have your back through and through. I believe that is what gives us our strength, and I believe that will be what gives you yours.
It wont be easy but you can build up Planet Express once more and we here in 0.H can attempt to help provide an environment where you would be able to build a competitive PC team without the threat of total and utter annihilation. The more teams there are who want to play PC the more PC battles that will be played, currently there are too few PC battles going on for a ringer squad to get valuable experience from playing PC for other corporations.
Please consider this, you can contact me at any time if you change your mind. o7

Tibbers, you take what i say completely out of context, as a member of one of the most amazing groups to have ever step foot into PC, as well as being an ex-member of so many GREAT PC teams, such as yours at one point I have vital information regarding PC and preperation for PCs that not many others have.
I have learned from many of the great PC players that have come and gone about things from gun game and squad tactics, to field commanding and building chemistry.
I may not yet have my own full 16 of PC ready players who are as dedicated as i am to put on my team, but i'd love to help other corps build in such a way that they are not only able to compete in the highest level of this game, but thrive.
their are many corporations that i help on a daily basis grow into the corps they are in and i even encourage them to pull in as many of THEIR OWN guys as possible... You really should step off that pedestal though. D.A.R.K L.E.G.I.O.N cannot survive without 0uter.Heaven holding their hands. Ringing against corps that are barely on their own feet while judging other corps for doing the same is never a smart move tibbers.
anyways,
TL;DR: I am not looking for your isk, or to ring for you. I get drowned daily with contracts anyways, I am simply looking to help, and if you need ringers i'm always happy to provide.
I am an unbiased third party for all corporations. Good luck on your future endeavors, and i hope to see you on the battlefield. Friend, or foe.

Not my intention, simply trying to make a point. But thank you for clearing it up though, that information is indeed valuable to be passed along.
DL fights their own battles we help them out with stacked timers and they provide some of our bored mercs with more PCs to play, Joe and Ares has been there for 0.H through our darkest times and thus they are like family to us, they have our back and we have theirs. DL have pride in fielding their battles with a full 16 of their members, their members gain experience and improve everyday but when you rampy or any of the other big names come around 0.H cant help but want a piece of the action ;)

Goofy, is a corp of members that i hang out with daily, people who both love and believe in me. out of my whole corporation i have a total of 7 ex-AE. members (when we said we retired, we meant it.) i am still building. While i am proud of each and every one of my members, i know who is and isn't PC ready. i also know our strengths and weaknesses.

And I want everyone else to have one as well, the more corporations who have teams the more districts can be utilized to have PC battles. The environment is just simply unsuitable for a these "new" corporation to attain valuable training and experience to be competitive.
frankly I've come to the conclusion that the best PC training you can do is actually fighting PC battles and playing Ambush; after a year of attempting to figure out how to properly train my players for PC without actually throwing them into the fire i have concluded that playing ambush against Nyain San with a properly set up squad is the best way to train players for PC by playing Pubs. To those who were on the other side of an 0.H complete proto stomp we apologize, 100% of the time we are chasing the Nyain San squad thats queueing up with us.
But other than that the only other way to train for PC is to play PCs, 0.H is trying to not only give a better opportunity to inject players into PC but also to hopefully create a small environment where corporations can actually train by playing PCs.
I dont feel like you're bashing me since these are good questions but thanks tho rampy o/

lol i don't lie on my corporation, while yes, we have AE funding, we are not reliant on it. I like to fund my corporation out of pocket. It is what i love to do as my baby. That being said, the corp does receive many donations from AE. members when they feel like getting on and see how i am doing.
as far as HvLP is concerned, you were made up of mostly ERA with the rest being ERA ringers when we faced you in PC as AE. and for the two matches i rang for TLoDT.
ERA IS in fact a joke, who i don't even view as a threat. That being said, i cannot field my own team at the moment for many of my members have jobs and children. We field what we can and hire out the other 7-8 spots, it's pretty sad though because clone pack wars and only winnable with a cohesive team which i simply don't have at the moment.
ALSO please don't bring yugioh into this. You can never trap me for i have a royal decree on my side at all times.

I've completely lost my will to care. It's horrible. :(
I am not who you think I am, only but just a dream.

Grand Master Kubo wrote:About two weeks ago the members of Nyain San were kind enough to give my corporation a shot at Planetary Conquest by giving us a district.

"ERA IS in fact a joke, who i don't even view as a threat.
Seriously though SoTa, you should really figure out your own situation before analyzing mine. Last i checked you're wearing NPC tags.[/quote]"
Note to self, hit Rampages corp as soon as it gets a district...then continue removing them.

Thank you Xvos. Without the alliance we wouldn't have been able to field a team so a thank you goes out to the whole alliance.
