Tib, what?!?!?!? Destiny AI - GOOD?! This is the WORST AI I have EVER seen. These AI's so stupid they can't even aim straight, most of there shots will be misses.
And is a swarm of them bothering? Don't worry about it! Not only does death not matter, the AI's are too stupid to follow you. So just camp entry poitns and slaughter the AI's too dumb to do anything about it.
Destiny is trash. Warframe is better and does exactly the same things in a cooler way. The only thing Destiny has is that city where population will be low thx to instance splitting, and cool loading screens.
That's, quite literally, it.

If they don't add in entirely new game modes for PvP and higher populated area's Destiny will flop. Bungie is really good at getting that "One-man genocide machine" feel and who needs aim when all the enemies have needlers lolbungie. I'm talking about; when enemies rush you while reloading, or having the shielded foes take the brunt of the shots and melee units move in to flank, how they will retreat when their defenses are down, how they will mix between offensive and evasive maneuvers when engaging one or multiple guardians. Granted most, if not all, of the animations were recycled covenant dodging and weaving but still it felt more immersive and "fun" fighting a horde of enemies with 2 of your friends without them behaving like headless chickens running into the barrel of my gun, like most other PvE games I've played. AI surprised me, isn't the best around, but it sure did surprise me. I have fun playing the PvE :3 but Dust is where I'll get my competitive fix
They retreat for every little thing. Try just walking up to them, they'll scatter. The ones who stay are usually still trying to shoot you from where you used to be and haven't figured out you moved.
And they do charge, and it's another reason I think this game is dumb. WHY!? WHY WOULD YOU CHARGE SOMEONE WHO CAN ONE SHOT MELEE YOU?!

I am very nitpicky. I broke that game down for all it's worth to make a logical decision on wether or not that game was worth investing into.
Ultimately, decided it wasn't.
I want Romance of the Three Kingdoms MMO :(

This is pretty much the case with every AI in every FPS. I believe that the AI in FPS games are being coded by Stormtroopers.
Ever put bots in Perfect Dark on hardest? They will never miss a shot lol

Hold on there, mr badly informed. Have you seen the Alpha? The only thing missing is more content to continue on. There's not going to be more game modes or anything beyond what is being shown.
This is the game, that's the skill tree, and that's the battle system. It's not going to be drastically changing going from the lol"ALPHA" *companies miss use this all the time, this game is more like a demo then an alpha, just look at how CCP uses the terms so loosely* to the lolbeta.
Alpha test is nothing more then seeing how servers handle up.

I gave it a 7 before I even played it for all the xbox tears it produced for the alpha. As far as the pvp goes, I thought it was fun. 6v6 is pretty small but it just means less bluedots to back pack.
PvP was the worst part. Just use a SG, get onto a hover bike - or use B's turrets. Any of those 3 methods will land you top killer spots. PvP has 0 balance, the only credit I'll give them is the PvP maps are well designed to give both teams room to have come backs. There's no chokes or points on the map to camp to just hold everything off.

I completely agree that the vehicles were ********, though to be fair, you're capped at level 8. Maybe at higher levels you'd be able to deal with those things easier? As far as shotguns go, it's just like every other FPS in the sense that if you let someone within finger banging range you die. I mean they give you a jet pack, just boost out of their range and pow pow their facey faces on your way up. Of course, your opinions are as valid as mine. Just means I don't get to look forward to getting killed by/killing you in Destiny 
Destiny will go F2P eventually, I don't see this game being as successful long term as the company hopes.
Far as jetpacks are concerned though, damn I love it. :D But it only takes one shot of a SG to kill you, so by the time you noticed you've been flanked it's too late. You also don't jump/fly away fast enough to avoid a second shot.
