I have never used the RS-90 CR until today. I just walked around pointing at mercs and pulling the trigger a few times and then booya, I realized I was standing in a field of corpses and I tallied the most kills I have ever achieved in a match. It's like taking candy from a baby.
For those of you having trouble getting your kills, go RS-90.
It is easy mode, so I probably won't be playing it again.
Oh yeah. Make sure you shoot from the hip.

I went bk-42 and I don't know if i'll go back. Except for my GEK. I still love that thing...
Besides, i'm usually too busy shooting people with my rep tool to care.

With the BK-42, you can strafe a lot easier because you don't have to worry about using your trigger finger.

Personally, I want the thing to hit harder, and have a cap on Burst Interval.
Make the Three round bursts hit HARD but make it fire slower. The current fire speed from ADS Full Auto should do it.
(For those wondering what I'm saying. Go into a game with a CR, Aim-Down-Sights and hold down the fire trigger. That is how fast I want it to fire.)

Rs 90 is righteous. Not as righteous as the gek but it is righteous.
Bk is easy mode. Rs 90 requires more skill.
The trully untamable b I t c h is the sl assault rail rifle. Thats my girl. That thing takes skill......without aim assist.

I don't know what you're all talking about, but my GEK-38 and CRW-04 have been tearing up more people than my RS-90 or BK-42.
However, my TT-3s still reign supreme. |

In all seriousness, the CR, while it does have slightlyhigh DPS for it's race, we can't nerf the gun any more without making it require 2 reloads to kill a Amarr Commando.
With Prof2 and Commando5, my Six Kin with a Complex Dmg Mod has problems ADS HEADSHOTTING a Templar Sentinel in 1 clip, let alone out DPSing them.
Tl:dr fine, nerf DPS, but buff Clipsize in exchange, and that'll just make it a carbon copy of the Duvolle/Rail Rifle.
I'm more in favor of massively increasin recoil(such that 1 burst is on taget, 2nd is way off if fired too soon, etc.) while making the Rail rifle have little to no recoil in exchange for a sizeable hit in DPS.
This gives the Rr a role: long range sharpshooter, being able to apply consistent DPS over range, while the CR is designed to spray the entire wall around an enemy, and then return again o finish the job.
Gallente AR would be for staying power- 'you're reloading? HAH! I've got 30 more shots bizznitch!!!'
Scrambler would be the DMR/ mobile sniper- 'one down, two down, oh hello there~ *+60*'
Of course though, everyone considers me a troll and ignores me.

I used to love the RS-90. The burst CR has excellent hip fire, good range, the best damage profile and are way to easy to fit. And CR also has the worst balancing mechanic because chewing through ammo means nothing when there are sooooo many ways to replenish ammo. Basically combat rifles in general are such easy mode I had to stop using them months ago.
I switched back to the CRW ScR a while ago and love it because it is a true hard mode weapon. The ScR is the hardest light weapon to fit, it has the worst damage profile, and it has the best balancing mechanic with heat build up, and it requires precision shots not spray and pray like the other rifles.
The ScR has also made me a better shot because being a terrible shot while using a ScR will result in your death. This is why so many scrubs use the OP CR. It is easy mode for bad players and its super easy mode for good players.
Gun control is not about guns...it's about control.
The only way to ensure freedom is by having the means to defend it.
