Some days the sensitivity is perfect and my aim is on target.
Others my aim is all over the place as if sensitivity is wacked.

No I don't have to constantly change my sensitivity. However I do know what you are talking about.
It's just called a bad day, we all have them. Sometimes I'll annihilate where ever I go, others I can empty entire clips and just not get a kill. For me it usually happens when I've been playing another game. Wolfenstein is my latest one, such a different style of play that it takes me a while to readjust when coming back. |

If I spend any time playing another FPS my first game back to DUST will be a shocker, and it is likely I'll go negative.
No matter what I'm using, no matter who I'm playing.

There have been times when iv had to reset my sensitivity after an update, but I'm not aware of any problems in-between.

I don't play much now, and haven't really noticed it much recently, but yeah I know what you mean, there used to be a time where every now and then it felt like something had changed 'sensitivity wise' and i just found myself unable to aim - and just as mysteriously it would correct itself |

Some days I turn off aim assist and then lower the left -right sensitivity so I don't spray and pray, otherwise it stays the same

the game has always seemed highly variable to me, but I think its actually about the FPS and latency your getting than the actual controls, this game gets so laggy at times you can't even fire a combat rifle at its usually speed because the server just doesn't get your info.
