So..
On the eve of the election I think it now appropriate to let it be known, which of the excellent crop of candidates have made it to my final shortlist.
I'm not going to break down the reasons for each as I feel strongly that, you as the voters, should take a look at each of their campaign threads and find there for yourself the qualities that I have.
I would however say, that the criteria I used was not based on how much they agreed with me. Some of them have views contrary to my own but I chose them based on how well in a group I feel they would perform, therefore allowing them to serve the community better.
I also of course have included myself, who you really should too.

Morning guys and gals,
Been off for a couple of days to unplug a little and get some cycling in. As well as lose some weight. That uniform I was wearing at Fanfest was a little too tight for my likening in a couple of places.. 
So any questions or things you'd like to say, pipe up now as we're into the final week of voting!

Just sent this as a corp mail. Players are coming back slowly...
Most of you will know that I personally process all new applicants to the Uni and send them the 30+ training mails myself. Such is the beauty of using the Eve Online client to run your corporation.
But one of the things that the Eve Client does that Dust is still lacking is that I can look at the employment histories of all new applicants as well as their creation dates. And I'm seeing a lot of returning players getting back into Dust after a long break, which is very pleasing I must say.
So I wanted to drop a quick line to all of you that have come back to say Thank You and indeed, Welcome.
The game is as playable now as its ever been with the deployent of Hotfix Alpha and Bravo and can only improve further with Charlie being worked on now.
So if you're liking what you're playing now, I urge you to contact any other old players you might know and ask them to give it another go. They don't have to join the Uni or anything but just ask them to come.

This candidate is so ego driven by the fact that he is CEO of Dust Uni it is scary. Is he auditioning for the role of Gru in "Despicable Me 3"? lol
We need people to represent all the players of DUST514 not just their own clique of friends and mindless followers. This self important CEO just wants another title he can boast about. That does not bode well for most players of DUST514 who will migrate to Legion. Let's find better representatives ready to stand up for us. |
