Have you ever had those moments where you see another merc with the same weapon as you and you two just go at it without anyone interrupting?

Mine came just yesterday when I ran into someone with a Flaylock.....we both knew that a duel was gonna happen and we just went at it....jump in and strafing like crazy....and neither of us pulled out our secondary weapon.....it was cool cuz there was a red heavy a far off and he saw us and shot at me but then saw we were dueling and just walked away........best duel ever!
Wish I remembered his name cuz I was gonna send him some isk for the suit he lost...and cuz he was using a Flaylock.

Not really the same weapons but it was hilarious none the less. Ok, so this was back in chromosome:
I just walked over a bump on that spiky map (damn, I forgot the name) and there he was, the enemy murder taxying fool. Of course, I had AV grenades packed due to them being quite effective at taking out LAVs at the time. So, I started teasing him with my laser rifle (not doing any significant damage, of course) and it worked! The random redberry thought that I was a noob shooting him with a laser rifle, probably thinking "lolz, what an idot. Easy target" and he started charging me. I just stood there, looking at his hood, waiting. And just when he got close enough "BOOOOOOOOOM", the AV nade that I was cooking hoomed onto it's target and ended it's misery with extreme prejudice. I just side stepped the burning wreckage that grinded past me.
That, my friends, is a satisfying kill.
Fun fact: The community is the worst thing that ever happened to this game.

I always switch to my ScP when I see someone else with one.
Usually the duel ends too quickly (for me or them) for interference :P

Domination map,Nova knife battle in 1.7 now so few.(In my other toon)He was a Minjas and I gallente.We both had the same plan,skip objective and straight to enemies base.We both traveled by Lav and we saw each other....knive battle.Was pretty good he was fast being a Minjas an all.He was clearly going to win,so I jumped he stayed there on the ground.We charged and EQUAL KO!!!.Was awesome continue doing it over and over till the match ended.Score for me 12Kills,he got 16kills.He won and was awesome some time pass and I forget his toons name.

I dueled someone with an ion pistol once.
We both had combat rifles, but on seeing this guy with his ion pistol I fired once at him, reloaded, allowed him to reload his ion pistol, and then we both honourably fought with only our ion pistols.
I've never had such a fine duel with anyone else.

i was always hoping for nova duels when seeing other scouts with knives, but after being raped with smg/magsec so many times now I just change to my smg first :P |

Python Vs. Incubus fights can be good.
one time me and another were dueling in the sky, and I had him on fire, he tried to fly away, the incubus hit the AB and started to climb, with one shot left in the clip and with him above me, I had to tilt the python back at 90 degrees and hit the incubus in first person, a straight up shot. then managed to level out only a few meters above the ground.

This one time there was this minnie militia anti-armor fit and he spawned and was all "IM DA BES!" so I took offense as I am clearly the best, so I dueled him 490 meters away in the back of the head with a Thale.

I love fighting other people who have laser rifle, especially when it's two people against me. Got to love those double, triple, and very rarely quadruple kills. What's even better is when you kill them using an assault suit and they're in their armor tanked sentinel or commando.

There was once a heavy with Nova Knives that I kept killing with my own in my scout suit, then I just detonated his uplink along with himself because I got bored of killing him. Not the same weapon, but I dueled a Nova Knifer with my Plasma Canon. He died to splash damage many times over before I hacked the CRU.

Me vs judas iscariot in a LODT v ER...er SVER PC, i had killed him 3x in a row before with my trusty shotgun, and we had a shotgun duel, both ran out of ammo at the same time, both pulled out SMGs at the same time, ran out of ammo with those without killing each other, reloaded, and went at it again. In the end, he was killed by a boundless CR from a friendly, but that was pretty funny

Mass driver duel in FW one time, a red tried to interfere and join in so we both stopped shot him then carried on lol it was harsh on the red looking for an easy kill but he did try to interrupt a good duel.

ohh yes. laser on laser are fun. My favourite tho was a scp VS flay lock. this guy saw me out of ammo on my duvlle and me pull out my core flay lock. My opponent saw this and put away his fully loaded ar and took out his scp. After intense volleys of flay lock and scp ammo I finished him and watched his beautiful rag doll. He was the most honourable soldier I've met out there.

I once had a little duel with California CatDog.
I was using a Logi A/1 Series with a Toxin AR and Toxin SMG, he was using an Assault A/1 Series with a CRW-04 Scrambler and M512 SMG. I could strafe around his Scrambler ok, but he had more HP and a better sidearm so when I ran out of ammo on my AR he killed me. :( |
