problems for infantry
1. scouts 2. heavys 3. tanks 4. dropships 5. snipers 6. campers 7. murder taxis 8. bad uplinks 9. dumb berrys 10. ammo 11. cover
also on the tank side of things ccp has striped us out about 33%-44% of our pg and cpu removed about 70% of our moduales 66% of our turrents allmost all of our bonuses from the skills tree (no way to increase anything) nurfed our acuracy so blaster cant hit a guy standing still 30 meters taken away our range of rail and reduced shield tank to a sad very unfunny joke
infantry have had new stuff added constantly and have free suits for all occasions including killing tanks
so infantry have has some nurfs here and there but nothing that you cant get around by switching weapons.most of there worry's are more of a passive kind have have less worry's cost they are generally cheaper then a serious tank (not milita)
tanks worrys are a content danger to them and involving large amount of info taken and constantly having to have our eye dart all over the screen just so we can see it all. we have received huge nurfs, rollbacks, large scale item removal, and tactic breaking so call "fixes" and half our skills are missing broken of very bugy. including that we sometime cant fire but the people killing us can
all in all im see most of the people demanding tank nerfs dont take into concederation how hard and exspencive it can be (sometimes if we lose ONE tank we make no profite) tanks are suppost to be powerful needing cordinated team work to take down they are not a I WIN BUTTON as i have seen and been told it is.
do you have any idea how long it takes get really good at using rail turrents as anti infantry? took me 2 months of constant practice!
how long did it take to get good at swarm luanchers? INSTANT
how long to get good with a rile rifle? ONE DAY
combat rifle? WEEK TOPS
all im saying is that we have a lot more problems then infantry, our mistakes cost more and we take a lot longer time mastering our weapons. You are not suppose to be the solo tank slayer god that you seem to want to be. the said even when cost a million isk a tank each you guys were still wanting to solo tank slayer gods.
this is from a tanker. i run tanks becouse thats what im good at, i cant even survive on the ground, Im a terrible shot with infantry weapons because im so use to tank weapons and how they operate.
I hope CCP stops caving to you guys and help us shadows of tanks out a bit
PS. CCP seems to be wanting to make free swarms more powerful. looks like the gods will be getting there wish.
feel free to try to persuade me. im open to all feedback after all its a discussion tread I totally agree with you. If I lose a tank that costs half a million 3 times it is a game that I absolutely not recoup. I've been watching the forums and people got blasters nerfed and now they want repair modules nerfed too. This game is about balance and no fitting for both suit or vehicles are perfect. I could make a tank with a blaster (nerfed) and multiple repair modules but there are ways to combat even a fitting such as that such as a tank with a railgun or middle launcher, proximity or remote explosives, suicide Lavs, teamwork from the opposing team. My point is people keep screaming OP and Nerf but they never think how do I combat this? I went into forge guns and explosives as well as suicide jeeps to combat vehicle spam and I'm a tanker with over 15 million in turrets alone. People need to calm down and think tactically rather than cry to CCP about ruining something that works rather than pick up skills and tactics that assist their play styles. I hear about people complain about tankers as much as scouts! Learn how to combat a play style.

And it needs to. that just plain dumb (no offence CCP) but with out the modules and skills added back you only see like 6 tank builds because we dont have variety but infantry have more variety then you cud shake a stick at Well, since the only changes will be to the stats of existing items, you can keep bitching that they should add things back, or you can make suggestions to balance current numbers. And as an ADS pilot and part time tanker I can tell you, swarms are currently crap. I have no reason to fear them unless I'm next to a building. FG are pretty balanced, PLC are finally in a good place, AV Nades still work as a supplement to primary weapons and tank vs tank is pretty balanced. The biggest imbalance currently is the armor repper, which is what they want to fix. There's no way armor should rep faster than my shields regen, if this was on a drop suit the entire community would have burned CCP at the stake long ago for the imbalance. If you can't see the imbalance, maybe you should get out of your tank and run AV occasionally. Try going 2 weeks without a tank, I dare you. Your kidding right? Read my post from earlier. Learn an AV tactic and go with it. I have barely any HP added skills into my suit. Outside of my tank I'm literally a paper warrior. An all repair tank is suseptable to a number of tactics. Suicide Lavs take those fittings out easily and railguns kill them just as easily too. Two forge guns with a maxed out charge rate would cause that tanker to think about their battle engagements. |
