I can't even remember the last time I saw a heavy that wasn't tactic-less. Sentinels are driven almost completely by ISK and SP.

PS heavies require more skill then you think Hell no. I've gotten in a ton of play time with everything (almost 2 years as a jack of all trades), and sentinels require the least amount of any type of skill to be effective.

Anyone can spray a HMG in a militia suit and claim to be a heavy. There is skill involved if you wanna actually be useful to your team and not kill hunt By doing what? Plodding towards everything red with all the other dumbass frontliners? Perhaps taking an LAV everywhere to insta-gib whoever hacked the objective you weren't guarding? That's all I've ever seen an HMG heavy do.
Every suit has a ratio of minimum skill in to maximum effectiveness out. Sentinels take the least amount of skill, but don't have the potential of all the other suits. They're still more powerful than they should be, IMO.

At the moment I think Scouts and ADS have the highest player-skill ceiling. Scouts also have the third lowest skill floor, after heavies and tanks (in my personal opinion). I'd say assaults are hard to use and don't scale well with player skill in this current meta, whereas logis are still pretty ace. Scouts are more difficult to use than they get credit for- Even if you're cloaked and brick-tanked, you won't get far without planning ahead, knowing the map, etc.
