If RE's are being nerfed, as part of CCP's enlightened plan on balancing, I propose we add in some other well-thought nerfs and buffs to make this game more exciting and interesting
1. Nerf the shotgun. It out DPSes a militia AR at 3 meters, which is ridiculous. I think cutting its damage in half would do the trick. It should take the entire clip to kill my precious medium frame, and it should have to be reloaded to kill a heavy, so that I have time to leverage my HMG, which is, BTW really in need of a buff. Maybe 25% damage since stun lock was removed.
2. Nerf Nova Knives. They can one shot an unranked militia heavy at proto on a proto min scout. Thats ridiculous. They are too easy to use, and sometimes I can't spin around with my HMG fast enough to kill the scout in .01 seconds before he kills me. Unless, of course, I backpedal.
3. Buff HMG range. Currently, someone with a BASIC RR can KILL my heavy from 70 meters away in 2 clips because my HMG can't instagib at that range. Absolute BS mechanic if you ask me. Id say make the HMG optimal be 100 meters at basic.
4. Nerf scouts. Sometimes, they can out strafe my HMG while I'm playing with one hand while eating potato chips with the other. If i don't kill them instantly its not fair. They shouldn't be able to strafe because i want to kill them. It makes me have to aim at them, or sideswipe them with my bullet spray. A suggested fix would be to have scouts stop moving completely if they touch the sideways direction with their joystick.
I think that this set of nerfs takes care of all the overpowered things at the moment, and balances the extremely underpowered heavy.

I think the only people who have tears are skilless players like people who would post something like that in my thread, and thats why balanced mechanics get unbalanced.
