Was around 1.2-.3 I think Map was 5 point with A on small bridge connecting D and E with 2 point facility (gal facility with large green mushroon) south of the bridge. Our spawn was D side. I'm flying my python with a crew of 3, 2 assaults and one scout. Cal assault with snotty and amarr with SCR, gal scout with ishukone sniper. Enemies secure the map pretty early on, blues are contesting alpha when sniper requests dropoff on E installation (box building over D and C on line harvest) drop him off and he takes up a position to fire at A/E then squad leader gives the green light at a run on the installation. Drop them a little south of C (5 point A) and provide air recon and support. 5 minutes elapse. Get a call from sniper, Sniper: uhhhh numnutz I think I'm gonna need an extract... Imediatly set vector to E installation Me: you think you need an extract or need extract? Sniper: NOW! OH ** NEED EXTRACT NOW! RIGHT NOW! Me: copy inbound now stand by. I came up from the south to see him between the smaller boxes on the roof A side, back to the wall with three assaults around him in a tight semi circle like an execution. I was bracing for the worst when they all opened fire with their plasma rifles. My sniper pulled a Neo and dodge most of the shots while completely duking out the reds, one so bad he was spinning in circles while the other two got a glimpse as he bolted towards the middle and around the corner box null cannon side closer to A. They started chasing him. Sniper: EVAC! OH GOD EVAC! SHIT ! I was hovering over supply depo side, not enough time to get a shot on both of them and he needs EVAC now. F* it. Throw my nose down and slam on the thrusters and come in between the middle section of the roof between null cannon side top boxes so close I squished the closest pursuing red between the bottom of my dropship and the roof (not hitting the roof mind you) just as he got a shot off on my sniper, then banked hard right as soon as my engines were clear and brought her up along the side of the roof in one elegant maneuver. The second pursuing red finally got a bead on him as he jumped off the roof just barely making it into my dropship then switched seats as I hit max thrusters and started swinging it around hard right for a gun run. However my sniper instead decided to jump out as I turned and flew up through the air and landed on the hill to the north of A slides down it then whipped around, croutched leveled his rifle and popped two reds who watched this from the ground at E and tried to chase him down when he jumped. While I was Firring missiles suppressing the infantry who quickly retreated under the E installation. Came down for a landing in the trench and picked him up. Squad lead: facility secure ready for puck up marking LZ In the road towards their ground spawn gate, soft touch down and extract squad, lifting up and started accelerating away then victory screen. Turns out the two man assault squad secured the entire facility, shot gunner going on an 18 man killing spree. Our actions turned the entire game around. All missions accomplished returning to base, skyshark one out. Finest example of dropshipping I've had in my career. Oh another funny moment, same sniper on 5 point map, facility with the orbital cannon rings above B and the acid under A. Flying over the tallest building casually just going to provide fire support for B when sniper jumps out shouting, Sniper: NUMNUTZ BRING 'ER AROUND! I bank hard left and catch him on the edge of my fov. Land, croutch and fire ine one swift movement and kill a sniper on the mountains I can't even see. Me: dude, wtf, who did you even kill?! Sniper: looked like a sniper in the mountains. Me: how the **** did you even see him?! Sniper: I dunno. Just did.

But i got the very first kill of the game and it ended up being Quickgloves lol. he had a full squad im not sure who all was there they might remember but after the match i had killed him around 4 times with dren and he invited me to join sver and his squad. once in squad he proceeded to tell me that at the beginning of that match when i shot him he started saying: Quickgloves: f* f* f* rest of squad: wat happened Quickgloves: no good mother****** scout just shotgunned me already as he was telling me this i laughed so hard my stomach was killing me that is one moment ill never forget a scout = once you turn your back on me you'll never be able to look back

To A.E's Bid for a land grab after Beating Team Players in The NA Tournament and getting given Hellstorms old home planet back as a prize from Cubs. Seeing how the Urgent Fury Tournament Prizes and CCP Support of them was... Not great? Cubs stepped up and made it a true grand prize. After this DUST's development stagnated until we got the New EP. The new Executive Producer did one Hurrah and one patch for DUST then said F* It. I Wish they would of done a DUST player market for fanfest before announcing Legion. We would of been a great testing bed for the concept and it would of completed a big chunk of DUST as it's last big feature. Side Note*. DUST started Development back in 2008, they showed the concepts they built in house at fanfest in 2009, Alpha's got released in 2012. It Took them well over 4 years of development to get DUST half built. Legion will Probably take over 2 years of development and I hope it get's even longer. It would be a GIANT Missed opportunity by CCP for a revenue stream if they where simply to turn off the lights before Legion is ready for Beta. Playstation 3's although they are becoming the Iphone 3 in Western Countries, they are just becoming affordable in places like Brazil, Chile, India even Sweden with abnormally high console prices. These markets will enter the PS3 market for it's systems features and already established quality game list for the next 1-2 years its projected. DUST could reduce operational costs and continue to attract new customers who will make a 5-10 dollar purchase and continue to provide a revenue stream for CCP deep into Legions Development cycle.

So there were 7 of us, my squad was 5 and the blue squad was 2, In my squad it was me (A heavy), another heavy, two logis and a shotgun scout. The other squad was a heavy and his logi. The rest of the squads were outside fighting for home point and the bridge. Our task was to take and secure the city and if we couldn't in 5 minutes GTFO, but some dropship troubles had us starting late and the reds ended up capping the city first. Our pilot who can't land tells us all to jump out and we all land near the acid with the dropship crashing into the street. We get links down and start fighting for the city against heavy resistance. This continues for about 5 minuted until our FC tells us to GTFO of the city because we aren't winning. He also said the people who died spawn on A and push home point. (All the remains in the city is 3 member of our squad and 2 from the friendly blue squad) Now comes the exciting part. Our FC told us to pull out of the city and head for the enemy home point, so we all start moving towards the exit by the CRU, the entire time we are being chased by enemy scouts, heavies, assaults, logis. As we are running we loose a member of the friendly blue squad, the logi. So now it is just the 2 heavies a logi and a scout. We make it out of the city past the CRU and I command my logi to call in an LAV, the other heavy also calls in his. While we are waiting I turn towards the incoming enemy team and start mowing down enemies. Wave after wave of heavies and cloaked scouts start coming, I manage to hold them off until the LAV drops. Now the sad part was that as my squad all loaded up into the LAV and start driving away, we had to leave the other heavy because we didn't have room. As we drive away I turn the turret around and watch the blue heavy. Without the extra support he becomes overwhelmed with scouts and gets shotgunned in the face just as his LAV drops. 3 People ended up living the entire thing, only to quickly die at enemy home point.
