Nope,i came to Dust because i was bored and it was free.

And unlike all these "bonkers for Dust" people,i couldn't care less if the game shut down within the next 12 hours.

I'd never heard of EVE before Dust,and since there are methods installed by the game creators themselves to backstab with 0 penalty,i'll never play it.


And all the reasonings behind these "buffs & nerfs" is beyond baffeling.
It's as if they intentionally want Dust to fail.


Seriously,the recon unit out killing the killing unit?
The support unit being paper thin,slow,and less effective in combat?

Never in the history of gaming should you have a unit that only accels at "carrying stuff" without giving it some form of defense,whether it be speed,armor or weapons.

And instakills are insane too,600 damage in a single shot from the fastest unit? That's freaking crazy.
They shouldn't be able to have that much power and that much speed. (see also:Heavy + HMG + LAV)


And those "lolspecialities" where some weapons are supposed to be good vs a certain defense,yet RRs can annihilate shields at long ranges.

And shotguns can obliterate armor.


Unless CCP makes their effectiveness more extreme all weapons are equal,just using different models and firing speeds.

EG RR vs shields 50% vs armor 90%
Shotgun vs shield 110% vs armor 55 %

It's what EVE is about...... isn't the intrigue one of the reasons you came to Dust 514?

Lol ya but nobody expected it to take our real life money when they said it was a 7 year game!

We didn't count on them including beta, uprising, legion and them probably owning pc companies to profit on the switch to pc, which is probably unlikely but I wouldn't put anything past them now.

Technically I think the correct term is Amarrad or Amarradi..... but yes we do see the OP's point....it's a little obvious and my intent was not to give him all that much credence due to his unfortunate reputation/ history of being a whiner.

The Dust I know is nothing like this. What is a killing unit? A blaster HAV? a shotgun scout? A slayer logi?
