To bring down the cloaked brick tanked scouts? My earlier post got shitted on while it was only a measly idea. I only asked how you guys felt about the idea, but you guys are so deffensive with the scouts...
I said to dumb down a little their pg/cpu To take away an equipment slot To thanks to them carrying 2 equipment slots, then make them only use sidearms
All of this were a no.
If we try changing the modules again, then all we'll be doing is hindering the other suits that actually need those modules (Amarr and gallente medium/heavy suits)
It is not the cloak that I hate. I have learned to spot them rather fast. It is the whole idea of scouts having more ehp than a medium suit and still keep their amazing strafing speed.

EDIT: Here is linky link I wouldn't mind scouts having 2 equipment slots if they had to sacrifice like logis do. EG. A Cal Logi gives up: -Armor -Shields -Movement+Sprint speed -A sidearm -Regen speed + Regen amount All for that +1 slot. Yet scouts don't? It's ridiculous. Logistics is made specifically to handle the burden of extra equipment,yet they are penalised in every way to do so. Yet scouts can do it better,faster,and still have a skill they beat other suits in? Absolutely moronic.
Exactly my point. But no. No one wants that change. Yet, people keep complaining how OP scouts are, yet they don't want any change except stats. This community is as bipolar as an girl I've ever met

An earlier I was in a match where a Dragonfly suit had almost the same amount of armor than my Gallente Commando!
My Galmando rocks rocks 527 armor This scout was rocking 525 armor
Not even halfway through the match and he had 20+ kills and no deaths.
When scouts can rock nearly the same armor hp like eavies but still be more felexible, nimble and faster than all of the suits in game, there is clearly something wrong.
The problem isn't in the armor plates. It's in the suits.

Giving more speed penalties to armor plates would just make the Amarr the turtle of the game and easy bait. That is a no. Also this applies to the Gallente.
Like I said. The problem is the scout suit. It can be an Assault suit, a Logi and ascout and yet it sacrifices nothing. (I am not counting those who EWAR tank their scouts. Now those are the real scouts of the game).
A logi sacrifices health, speed and a sidearm all for that extra equipment slot. The scout sacrifices nothing since you can have more armor than an unmoded Commando suit, yet be faster than it and keep the scouts strafing speed while having that exttra equipment slot.
Yeah, scout suits ARE OP. Either take away one equipment slot and along some of their pg/cpu or only make them carry sidearms.
Only way to make them balanced and at the same that will give the assaults a small buff.

No. Even if Assault suits were to be changed right now, we will still see few of them. Why use a clunky assault suit when you can have more ehp, carry 2 equipment and have the best starfing speed? Not to mention the passive bonuses Gallente and Caldari scout get.
And making armor plates affect each suit differently then that would need to implement a client side update. Something which is very rare to happen any time in this life time.

I love your ideas but I must go against ou on giving the Assaults a second equipment slot. That will make them even better than Logis. And we don't want that to happen. Give the Assaults a second grenade slot and keep the scout nerfs you suggested.

In PC, your brick tanked scout will be scanned, if their team is any good at all. Since I have never participated in PC (sadly) then brinked tanked scouts won't be as big of a problem.
I only play pub matches, which mean I get low payouts. And more than half of my deaths and half of the people I kill are cal scouts and gal scouts with way more EHP than my Mini Sentinel....

i hate OP scouts but i'd never nerf them that much. Just buff assault cpu/pg. No extra spam slot,even if it were "only for AV" If damage resist were applied,it should be against their racial enemy,and only 1 bonus . I was thinking more like add one of these nerfs to the scout suits. As each one of these negates them from being more frontline effective than Assault's and heavies. Except the cloak field one. That one has already been applied.

Yeah but that EHP can be duplicated to it being compatible to a Commando's EHP.
It's loose 1 and keep the other but having them both is OP.
