Thats right. Read the title i think this is long overdue. I suggest a huge radius buff and a 50hp or more damage buff. Ill check the stats and write a more detailed suggestion.

Apart from that, these changes will suffice. Splash makes it a bit easier to use, but the real buff is in direct damage.
With Explosive damage buff and proficiency, you can deal ~405 damage a shot to armor. Enough to make any Armor tanker rue the day he met you. Yeah i agree with you but I think it should have a 2-3m splash radius and the damage you showed. maybe a little more for splash.
These numbers might be higher than the original flay lock but i dunno.
2.5m splash radius.
150, 200, 250 splash damage.
250, 300, 350 direct damage.

If you don't it just gets spammed. 200 is perfect, it means that to kill the average dropsuit, you have to land three splash shots, which is the full clip. But the real POWER of the flaylock needs to be in direct hits. I actually like the higher numbers you have posted. If people start complaining about how these "Direct Shots" are OP, I might quit Dust. Direct shots are insanely hard to pull of at ANY distance. Yes i just looked at the stats in game and I think 200 does fit, along with the 150,175,200 progression. I think the problem with the flay lock right now is the splash radius. With the controller, the flay lock is hard to aim at the feet with the tight 1.5m radius and the time it takes for the missile to travel could let the target run away and dodge the small radius. with a slight buff to splash and doubling the radius or just a little lower will make it much more viable. And the direct hit damage being way higher than splay still adds the need for skill that CCP wants this gun to have.

Splash Radius 3m
Splash Damage 150, 175, 200
Direct damage 250, 300, 350
Ill look into and try out the other variants of the flay lock and purpose new numbers for them later

Aha! i got some of the original numbers.
Based on these and my memories of back then I now suggest,
un-nerfing it and seeing how it works.
BUT I would not announce this. I would let the regular flay lock users (Like me) notice the difference.

Please put your suggestions. No. This will cause chaos again do you know why they nerfed it? It was the best sidearm it was too OP It was only OP when everyone was using it in August
