He was pretty much the only person who instilled any amount of faith in CCP as a company for me. To see him let go as a 'removal of redundancies' all for them to bring in new community reps... wow that really stings. I'm gonna have to sit down and really reflect on whether or not its worth continuing to support CCP at all as a company... a bunch of dedicated developers led by some of the worst upper management I have seen except for the likes of Ubisoft and EA. I may have to reconsider my subscription to EVE... Best of luck Saberwing... consider it a blessing, imo.

Its essentially an admission that Dust is dead and Legion (if its greenlit) will not be a standalone game, but more of a 'sidebar action game' for their more important player base set, their EVE subscribers. It would be foolish for anyone to expect that this does not mean significantly diminished player-dev interaction for CCPs non-Eve: Online games. It doesn't surprise me that this is happening for Valkyrie... consider their lack of PC support for that game will result in a player base about as large as Dust will have when it releases, but it does give a surprising admission to what they expect for Legion imo. i can't say I'm surprised or even all that upset about it though, it was pretty much what we were all thinking, its just an official announcement to that effect.

Absolutely no reason for CPM 1 to exist until Eve: Legion is ready for it. Dust 514 has absolutely no need for a CPM.
