Spkr4thedead almost killed me once. I had to reassess my night on DUST after that close call. It would have been like dying while tripping over putting my pants on in the morning.

So IMHO, the stupidest way that I've ever died was while using Smart Deploy.
Don't you love it when Smart Deploy decides to spawn you on the exact spot where a grenade landed?

I shot myself with my own forge gun. I tried to shoot a guy from the top of a ladder at a guy climbing up and somehow got a direct hit on myself, killing me instantly. I know it had to be a direct hit because I had about 800-900 eHP so splash from a single shot wouldn't kill me. |

On my heavy Alt I was defending a point inside the landing pad socket. I was mowing through everyone solo. I survive the most recent wave of attacks with about 20 armor, I turn to move up the stairs and WHAM! Punched by a frigging scout.
It's also one of my funnier deaths.

Back in chrome, I arrived at point A on line harvest, to find it red with someone hacking it. Assuming it was a blue, I tried to assist, but no "hold O to hack" message appeared, no matter how much strafing, ducking or mashing of circle I did. Then the dude hacking turned and killed all hell out of me.
Turns out the objective was already hacked by a teammate, and the fellow I was gyrating next to was a redberry hacking it back.
No, I don't think my parents are related? 
If you see me in the redline, driving an LAV in circles, fear not! Its my two year old son enjoying New Eden.

Tried to time the PLC shot from behind an LAV. Shot it at the wrong moment.
Set an RE on a pillar and walked forward to see an Amarr Commando. He chased me back to the pillar as I detonated, killing us both.
Landed on an RDV after hotfix in a Gk.0. Before, I would land safely on it, then fall and land safely again. Now, I just became an expensive splatter on an evaporating hulk of hot machinery.
