At the old versions of the game , the factors that make a dropsuit unique are movement speed, armor/shield capacity , differance on their modules and their face thats all.
Now, their are many unique kinds of dropsuits.For example,scouts can use their clock field to do assassinate operations. heavy frames have good armors and can use heavy weapons.That good . Medium frames have no thing special. This decrease the demand to use it.
My idea is to make it unique.I think:
Specialize Assault frame: make them have 2 light weapons and delete commando class. I think this is a little bit strange to let heavy frames to have only light weapons.
Specialize Logistics frame: (just my opinoins) As Logistic dropsuit is a support unit, I think this will be useful if we rise the CPU cost and PG cost of nanohives, which like the clock field specialized for scouts so this can specializes Losgistic unit as a real support unit and it also prevent a full team of snipers using phototype charged sniper rifles with low-cost nanohive and kill a player from a far-off place.

Giving each role within the medium frame line more uniqueness and specialization is a concept I fully support.
As to the specifics; CCP R has stated that Assaults won't be given 2x LW or the Commando removed so we have to address this from a different angle. For example applying weapon and damage buffs to the Assault frame which are tied to their respective racial weapons. This still gives them more gank, while keeping them flavorful. It also offers the opportunity to increase the divide between the assault and other classes (i.e. niche) by making some weapons only truly optimal if used by the racial assault (such as is the case with the LR now, and the method used by CCP for equipment/Logi).
Logistics; If the effective value of equipment mobs were scaled up again, and the CPU/PG cost as well this could provide more meaning for the support role. I'd support this idea. It might require a more potent buff to the fittings discount that logi gain at present depending on how far the CPU/PG costs were scaled up, but it certainly seems worth looking into.

I support mirroring the commando light weapon dmg bonus to the assault frames, and increasing the slot count to match the other medium frames (logi) here

don't mirror the commando bonus.. just 1% instead of 2.
and to aid with the versatility of medium suits which they are supposed to have... give assault suits 2 Equipment slots while raising cal/amarr Logi equip slots to 3.

maybe give logi a -10% pg and cpu cost and make the equipment 10% higher on pg and cpu?

+1 for differentiating dropsuits further, -2 for your suggestions, total score -1. It would be done better by giving the existing dropsuits more appropriate bonuses.
