I have Gallente Scouts at V and my Prototype fitting has three Complex Profile Dampeners with an Advance cloak equipped. What can scan me? I checked protofits.com and a Caldari Scout with four Complex Precision Enhancers only scans down to 14.91 dB. The site says my Gallente Scout has a scan profile of 13.48 dB.
Are these stats correct and updated? If so, does that mean my scout can't be scanned by any other scouts? What about a Proto Gallente Logistics with a Core Focused Scanner. Will it be able to detect me? Any help is much appreciated. |

Good enough?
At least you have a chance, even at standard.
I need to run a proto suit, just so i can dodge all but quad precision calscouts(even with proto cloak)

I did not ask to see whether or not my fit was good enough, and I'm a little confused as to what the last part of your reply is referring to. |

Yes, nothing should be able to scan you with Gallente Scout maxed, your Dampening skill maxed, and then three Complex Dampening mods.
You have to think of how many proto scanners on a Logi gk.0 or Scout ck.0's with three or four Precision Scanning mods you're actually going to run into.
The cloak doesn't matter for dampening any more, but you should save a slot and run with only two complex Dampeners. Then you have two extra slots to mess with instead of one. |

As far as I'm aware, Lvl 5 GalScout with three Complex Damps and an Adv. Cloak will hide from anything and everything. I'm pretty sure the Adv. Cloak isn't even necessary. You just need three Complex Damps.
Keep in mind that you'll be made of glass with this fit. |

Apologies, i actually had just woken up at that posts' birth.

Stealth is only of use in CQC. Or else, you just kind of waste your suit getting spotted. There is a bug where the stealth module does not have any shimmer at all...
I can see stealthed suits at 400 M out, so I never really understood cloaking. If dampeners work, then dampeners are far more effective at doing the same thing, they just force you to realize where you walk.

Here's the math: https://googledrive.com/host/0B_YSJ6FRJlihQjFXdzdNYU5MQWM/alpha.html
Special Cases: * Profile / Precision values rounded to nearest whole. * Ties go to the scanner.
Assuming you have max skills, nothing can scan a GalScout with 3 Complex Damps.
Shoot scout with yes...
