For some reason I picture CCP as one of those organizations that doesn't listen to anything outside their own internal echo chamber. All the higher ups think that they are so brilliant and revolutionary, etc.. And internally everyone echos that, meanwhile on the outside of the company, in the real world, they aren't thought of at all to the point where probably 90% of gamers couldn't tell you who CCP is or what game or games they make.
In short they're like Mitt Romney, they have it in the bag, so why bother to write a concession speech.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

This game doesn't sound all that great, but it can't be worse than Dust and I doubt this developer will get players' hopes up with lies of deep gaemplay, connectivity to a space sim, and a 10 year development plan.

"but it can't be worse than Dust " The new catch phrase for every single game that will ever come out for all time.
Well it isn't really true though, I think that Blacklight is actually worse than Dust or I enjoy it less I should say.
