I'll play legion
I'll still play dust
I'll still play eve
I'll also say that I play planet side 2 and its fking amazing once you know what you are doing. I got on dust yesterday and really was taken aback at how awful dust really is.
I hate to say this and I used to say otherwise but I believe planet side 2 will take most fps player on ps4 in the world save for the scrubbers who need aim assist as those types will get ruined completely except the ones who get good.
There is nothing like planet side 2 but there will be and I hope legion will be that epic but I don't think CCP has good enough servers for that, just look at 'time dilation' (sht servers/helps out the dial up crew).
I was in a 3 hour battle yesterday and it was like something out of a film. We pushed the new conglomerate scum across the continent but the vanu turned up, stole the objective and began pushing us back.
I blew up 12 aircraft (1 was a fully loaded troop transport of 12)
Blew up 8 tanks
Killed about 32 infantry
Revived about 150 people
Died about 30 times also
I can't begin to describe the chaos and sounds but its amazing.
Its a war simulator in every sense. The logistics comes in the form of engineers.
Late at night its more about smaller skirmishes and patrols while taking territory
If anyone is going to play planet side 2 and finds themselves bored then you are doing it all completely wrong or you are the only player online but that's almost impossible.
If you care about your k/d then you are also playing the wrong game as battles with around 400+ a side sees everyone dying often, kind of happens in a shooter that actually requires you to aim and with so little crutches.
If you are a k/d padding useless bugger then join vanu as they are easy mode and a neckbeard heaven.
Terrain Republic for the win.
We have the most recoil
The worst accuracy
Still we beast it because 'strength in unity' and actual tactics.

Its also laughably evident that dust was never going to happen on the console.

Don't be forgetting that dust isn't like mag or any other lobby shooter in the fact that it is linked to eve. I can't be bothered to go in depth on that because it should be painfully obvious.

This makes no sense. Dust happened on a console. The "vision" of Dust is totally viable on a console. A console is simply a computer with a different OS. My PS3 has better hardware in it than many of my friends that I play Eve with. So your conclusion is completely wrong. I do agree that Dust is nothing like any other lobby shooter. Not due to the silly Eve - Dust link (which is weak, at best) but due to the mass customization and time you have to spend playing it to become a versatile player.
You are preaching to the choir.
Its about data and the difficulty of it communicating through the Sony network.
The spec of the ps3 is also sht and traps the game. It'd never get much better.
The fact you disagree show s how little you know.
Wake up.
And also, your eve buddies must be running some seriously out of date and terrible computers if your ps3 has better hardware.

Thanks for confirming that you don't know what you are talking about.

I only come on dust because of my merc buddies.
Its really harsh that CCP has got us all into the game, we have all forged what we thought were going to be gaming buddies on some great adventure only for a lot of us to leave people behind when legion comes.
Its really sad.

I'm pretty sure it will at least be better than dust.
I'll see you there lol.
