But what does it matter anymore? What is the point of even having a CPM1?
You will not have any future role in Legion. Your opinions, views, suggestions aren't going to mean sh!t as far as dust is concerned. You are not going to fulfill any duties for the player base or community.
So again, what is the purpose of having a CPM1 now?
Where is the list of candidates? How is voting conducted? |

CCP hasn't announced the official list of candidates because they are still taking submissions. The link to vote will be available once voting commences. Expect a dev blog or something similar.
The CPM has a strong part in ensuring players' needs are attended to throughout the rest of DUST's lifetime, as well as ensuring the community's needs are met going into Legion, such as character transfers and the like.
I'd like to be your CPM1 candidate

Vlad,
The CPM has been pretty instramental lately in some of the areas that CCP is working on for Dust and I have a strong suspicsion that the CPM1 guys elected will grow increasingly more invovled with Legion as things go on.
My observation is that the CPM has had more influence in the last month or two than they have had in the months priors by a long shot. Getting some good folks in there can only help - it certainly won't get worse.
As for voting, I think Soraya covered it. I think there is a sticky on this section of the forums up top that cover it.
Shoot me a note and we'll squad up.

I thought it was already stated that the CPM would not role over to legion. If thats not the case, and the CPM is more than a CCP hand puppet , then I look forward to seeing who is running. Thanks for taking the time to explain it Jaysyn. Miss you and love you always. |

CPM's interaction with Legion will be 'limited'.
Most candidates believe this is a preliminary statement and that interaction will increase once a) Legion is greenlit, and b) development resources are officially assigned to Project Legion.

I'm running because I want to have a positive influnece on Dust while we still get to play it. Its as good a reason as any. I'm not too worried about legion because its Dust i've played for oer a year, and its Dust that i'm concerned with.
I'm fine personnally with having a limited input in the overall direction of Dust. Its CCP's game at the end of the day. Thats what they do for a living. The CPM do not, and get the amount of wieght in final desciions accordingly.
i hope this answered your concerns from my point of view at least.
