What game mode do you play?
Although I have been running into more scouts than normal, gallente scouts are still more prevalent, from what I've seen.

Not surprised--looking forward to testing out Hotfux Alpha when I get home.
I don't like what they did to "balance" Cal/Gal scouts, but I do find solace in the fact that most of them will fall very quickly to my scrambler rifle.

Played a dozen or so Ambush matches.
Not enough to reject your observation, but enough to suspect you're wrong.
I've seen far fewer Scouts and Tanks than before. More Heavies though.

Not my observation I have come across one or two gal scouts but whole squads of cals quite regulary. But this was the case before the hotfix as well. I never really understand why all were claiming the battlefield is filled with gal scouts...all I had encountert in larger numbers is heavies and cal cal scouts  . And now even more cal scouts... mostly with ACR's (which are still way more powerful than AR's thanks to the damage profile) |

I'm somewhat of a Caldari role player. When some specs on the new suits were made public and protofits.com supported the changes, I theory crafted a few suits. When the new suits dropped with a Dropsuit Command respec, I took Caldari Light, Medium, and Heavy to 3 and starting skilling into the role bonused suits. (Basic / Role-Bonused suit is a terrible system and needs an overhaul btw)
I've thoroughly enjoyed the CalScout.

Yet Cal Scout with RR is just not fit for CQC AND range as Cal Scout with ACR.

Yeah, I was hoping that when they released the racial suits that they would collapse the basic suits into one for each race to encourage what you have done (spec into a race's suits exclusively). Each level of the basic suits would give you access to all types of the basic suits (lvl 3 would give you Advanced basic light/assault/heavy) or just the assault one. |
