I use shields for offense and armour for defence.
I actually use complex shield regulators, 1 on each winmatar suit and its bbrilliant coupled with an energizer.
I see most 'shield' users simply stacking plates and shields and they wonder why their shields don't kick in or repair quick enough.
And I have used the proto winmatar heavy, assault and logi to great effect and non brick tanked in PC .
Heavy - Highs 2 complex shields/1 enhanced energizer
Lows 1 complex reactive/1 complex shield reg
Assault - Highs 4 complex shields/1 enhanced energizer
Lows are the same as the heavy
Logistics - Highs 3 complex shields/1 enhanced energizer
Lows 1 complex shield regulator/2 basic plates/1 enhanced repair
I don't run a min scout as I have a 20 mil scout alt.
I'm also just thinking now what possessed me to add all that lol.

I was considering putting 2 complex shield regs on my heavy.
I think that's about 2 secs not depleted and 4 secs depleted roughly.
