Actually you are wrong. A cal scout without 1 precision enhancer can not see a gal scout with zero damps, nor can the cal scout see any other scout with one complex damp without a complex precision enhancer.

And how does a cal scout get this huge armor tank you claim with only 2 lows?

Also, any scout that doesn't use damps is an idiot. A gal scout with 2 precision enhancers can detect any other scout with one damp and no cloak. This means a cal scout without at least one damp and an active cloak could be passively scanned by a gal scout yet the cal scout, a "scanning expert," can still not detect a properly dampened gal scout. This is another reason the gal scout was so unbalanced compared to the others.

HP on scouts is so overrated when being fast and dampened is so much more important. And before alpha hotfix, the gal could be fast, dampened with decent hp and natural reps.

At least now the gal scout will not be as OP as it was even though it is still the best true scout since hidding is the most important thing a scout needs to be able to do, not stacking hp.

I will be running cal scout with 1 or 2 precisions,300hp shield tank is still much more viable than 500+ armour since everyone uses armour based weapons. Yes ewar is cool but good players see you even with cloak. Personally I think they ahould trim down the shimmer now that they overnerfed the cloak. Its only usable to hid from eyes from now on and that shimmer is contraproductive, especially since its a light blue. Just make the cloak semi transparent like in titanfall its spotable but hard to spot. The cloak we got is to easy to detect Imo

As a Cal scout all you need is 2 precision enhancers and your golden, 3 if you really want to be mega scanner. Every other slot can be fitted for tank without sacrificing your main ability, which is to scan. As for dampening any scout, regardless of race if they want to be hidden they need two dampeners MINIMUM this now includes the Gallente scout. But because the Caldari scout can detect any scout it can go by using only 0-1 dampener. This leaves room for plenty of tank, more tank than any other scout. AND THUS THE CALDARI SCOUT IS GALLENTE SCOUT 2.0 supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

With these changes to cloaks more scanners will be used making dampening even more important, which only emphasizes my point that a non dampened scout is a dead scout. A few hundred hp won't save a scanned scout from three hmg heavies with logi support. Not being scanned will save that scout. Gun control is not about guns...it's about control. I will never understand how CCP could really believe to solve brick tanking by practically removing all other options to brick tanking. A scout with three damps is not a very reliable fit and I guess most gal scout will simply slap on plates why even bother to fit something different if it makes no difference.
