Could a dev please tell me why, just WHY I have to die if I touch the MCC in my dropship?!? Its just totally ridiculous. All that it takes is a bit of a tap and BOOOM there goes 500000 ISK up in smoke! WHY IS THIS HAPPENING.
And its not just the MCC. There are many other inconspicuous hazards out on the battlefield for a DS pilot to have to deal with. Towers and other suicidal militia dropships to name a few. You would think that considering the dropships have no helicopter like propellers and are basically flying tanks that they would be able to withstand a pretty hefty crash.
Its just a total RAGE FEST!!! WHY CANT YOU PEOPLE JUST FIX IT ALREADY!
and yes, I was raging while writing this

You would think that CCP would have given the infantry refund that should have been in 1.8.

I had to ask because some do and I thought that was there way of fixing that issue but it seems like someone just baited you that's all .
Yeah , you have to watch out for baits like that and when there are enemy rails on the ground . They like to fly and try and bait you into the rail range .
I'm sure you know all of that but just were caught up in the moment .

Im pretty sure it was a genuine dog fight, there was a rail on the ground but he wasn't all that committed

I refer to dropships as skysharks, and ADS as great white skysharks. I want to put a mouth on my ads so bad! Like the ones on a-10 worthogs or cobras

Oh yes, the space whales and skysharks war. A tragic story of misunderstanding.
Some brave souls tried to mend things over. Like when groups of space sharks would gather around a wounded space whale and repair it through all the battle as a peace offering. But it was not to be.
That was such a sad, sad story.

i can say i've never really had that problem, if this has changed since the hot fix then i cant say because i havent played yet. but i find getting rid of any momentum and trying to land the thing instead of drop it works well. |

They also don't show up on the map all that well when in the air, odd as its a flying housing project and all.

I've AB'ed into walls at full speed and didn't die, darn close but my Incubus survived. That same fit even taps a MCC and it will instantly explode.
Your game f'ing sucks, but I'll still play it, damn you! Turns out I wont.

the touching the mmc is to stop mcc snipers who use the mccs hit box to make themself nigh on impossable to snipe off the mcc
