A Weapon with a firing ARC, 1 round clip, slow travel time, a theoretical effective range of ~50m, and slow reload speed should be [relatively] stronger (in terms of direct damage) than a weapon with a 4 round chamber, incredibly fast travel time, 300m range, and [relatively] high RoF.
This will balance itself out due to the fact that this is all restricted to CQC, which can spell certain death if your aren't careful or manage to run into a seasoned HAV pilot.
Pilots aren't known around these parts for there compentence, but I would feel utterly ashamed of myself if I cried about a Plasma Cannon. I think that's the part when you tap triangle and hit "Uninstall".
PS: Weapon strength needs not be based on Sidearm > Light > Heavy.

But this is ass backwards Dust land where tanks can't won't be able to hit infantry and infantry can **** on tanks, so whatever.
Makes no sense, but this game is balanced by tears not logic. And this is what I like to call a "fail post".
Unless someone's running a Speed Tanked Matari suit, a Tanker will be able to hit infantry just as easily as before (which was indeed easy).
It's a good thing I speced into PLCs and Swarms.

I managed to connect two consecutive shots on a Gunlogi, and no WP. Yeah, yeah, anecdotal... salt... blah, blah.
Neither of the above scenarios produced enough results to chase the HAV away. Even with the incoming buff, it is doubtful that anything will change. Maybe it'll take one less shot to earn WP, undoubtedly a good thing. But the buff still leaves the weapon as a single-shot, close range, slow projectile AV weapon with extremely low damage (for all the downsides).
This "buff" is a misnomer. It is merely a perpetuation of the status quo. It's not really anecdotal in the sense that there is a minimum HP of damage that is required to gain 75WP, meaning that there are actual numbers available to support your claim.
