The compact nanohive is one of the most useful nanohives, it gives rep, it gives ammo and it's incredibly fast. It's very useful for assaults and for snipers.
The only problem is that it comes only in STD version and there is only one them.
I would like to have ADV or PRO tier compact nanohives. They should be exactly the same of the normal compact but you should be able to carry 2 of them, 1 active at ADV and 2 active at PRO level.
CPU/PG cost of the compact NH is 10/2. ADV should be doubled 20/4. PRO tripled 30/6.
Then i would be happy with nanohives.

Stefan Stahl wrote:I use it on pretty much all of my fittings. I have to wonder though, does the compact nanohive really help improve gameplay? For me the compact nanohive is a good reason to not fit reps and stack more armor instead. There should be a discussion on whether the fitting costs really reflect it's importance in many fittings. I think that compact are just a second chance, the range is very limited and you can use them only to heal AFTER the fight. They can't replace armor reps, imo.

Compact is perfect, it's fast with ammo, can heal armor and have a low CPU/PG fitting cost, another advantage is that it's less visible. Have 2 of them for 2x CPU/PG requirement would be very cool for all the class with only one equipment slot.

Sounds like a slayer dream come true tho, all the benefits, no requirements.
Compact range is too low, you can't use them instead of a logi, you can't use them to heal while you are under fire, unlike triage hives, benefits and requirements are balanced, you can use them only when you are safe, certainly they can't save your life like a logi would do in a critical situation.
