of our dust mercs to legion... by meaningful I mean all my isk, all my sp, my stats, my assets (or the isk equivalent for isk items and the AUR equivalent for AUR items) and our bpo's...
as far as the blue prints go, if legion is gonna be the eve connected game you have promised us, then they should work just like eve BPO's. if a bpo item no longer exists in legion we should get a bpo of the closest thing resembling it in dust. these bpo's should either be exclusive (meaning no one else can get them ever) or they should be incredibly expensive and they should be tradable either way. if they can not work like eve bpo's then they should still be in some way unique items we get to keep with some sort of slight advantage and are still NOT consumable. or give us the option of cash or plex for them.
I don't think isk should be a problem if eve and legion will have a connected market.... even if the markets are not connected at first, the amount of people who have a lot of isk is such a tiny number compared to how many people should be playing legion that they wont be able to have a serious long term impact on the games economy, and you can always create sinks and faucets to alleviate the isk deficit in new players.
I don't see any reason why all of our sp shouldn't transfer. we put a lot of time into it, just like an eve pilot....even if you change how sp is gained, or the value of that sp, there isn't any reason why you can't make those changes with the mindset to include our investment.... in other words there is always more than one way to complete a task... if the way you are working on doesn't keep our time and investment in mind, then it's not the best way to complete the task and you need to find a better way.
I know a lot of people have given you great ways to do this. dont make the same mistakes by ignoring us again. |

There would've never been such a drastic disparity had CCP actually thought PC through a little more.

They wisely managed their wallets in Dust, they can do the same in Legion.
the amount of dust players who have way to much isk and sp is such a small number compared to how many will be playing legion... and out of that small number some wont even play legion. and lets not forget, if eve is connected to legion then eve isk will flood legion anyway, so why shouldn't we keep our isk?
as far as sp goes, you want aur items to cross over... well what about sp garnered through boosters from aur?
not to mention this was a serious time investment to get that sp, why shouldn't that investment be honored? |
