I cannot stress how important it is that their damage output be considerably nerfed. It's not balanced when a blaster Madrugar can slaughter infantry, then easily wipe out my missile Gunnlogi that's supposed to destroy it.
Blasters deal too much damage; I'm dead in the time it takes me to launch one volley and reload another one to finish them off.
And railguns, well we all know they are just stupidly OP.

It might be stated in the Hotfix Alpha, all I know is that Large Blasters aren't going to be super effective against infantry.

I haven't seen anything that confirms that blasters are getting fixed for Alpha, but I do know that they're being looked at eventually. Until them, ask your nearest friendly neighbourhood commando to come packing some swarms instead; contrary to popular belief, they do work as intended if used right.

I think they tanks are perfect. Its a fucking tank, people are supposed to fear it. The only thing on a tank that needs fixing is the damage on the basic and advanced railgun varients. A basic rail gun should be far less effective than the proto railgun , which it is not.

Disagree. I'd rather see it go in the opposite direction - it's terrible for game health when older players can casually slaughter newer players just because their gear is better.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

If you lose to a blaster with your missile tank then you should skill something else lmao. As for rails I'm assuming you don't use tactics against them.. They will win at range and if you suck they'll win in cqc too.

They really are not right now , compare the shots it takes ( if you land them all ) of a large blaster compared to a combat rifle and the combat rifle is way more effective . They need to lessen the damage on that thing , now .. I'm not saying that large blasters are not broken because their range is crazy , I can hit enemy targets from 400 m's away but the damage is not that effective though .
Infantry that just stands there should die and most of the cases , that's the case and then they come to the forums complaining about blaster turrets when a combat rifle is way more effective ... and no I don't want to see your numbers ( not talking about you commenter ) I'm talking about in game activity .
All I'm saying is , it takes more time from a large blaster to kill infantry than it does a combat rifle in one clip .
That's not balanced at all .
When I use blaster turrets they just stand there .. those that move get away , even heavies .
Edit : Yes I have seen a player kill multiple opponents with one clip from a combat rifle .... one clip without reloading .

Then what is the point of even skilling into a tank turret if a gunnlogi with a militia rail gun can be just as powerful as one with a particle cannon? This game has never been balanced for new players, what should make this situation any different?

If you're having trouble with a triple rep Madrugar, the easiest type of tank to kill with missiles, then I can only say you're either crap at driving a tank (somehow, because it's really easy), or you're trying to use a basic-level missile turret with no damage mods without realizing that there's not enough damage in the magazine of a basic to kill a tank.
Either way, that's your fault, because I've killed numerous of those tanks you're complaining about. |

To be frank , I don't think NPE is that bad besides matchmaking .
If they quit then they were going to anyway and we all had to go threw the same thing and deal with the same issues in the beginning . ( Edit : Besides the fact that some of us has had multiple skill point resets in the beginning )
I just don't care for the care bear mentality , where ... you have to hold hands threw the first steps .
Should the skill points given in the beginning be increased from five hundred thousand to one million ..??.. yes , should match making take new players into consideration ...???.. yes , should information become more descriptive and informative as to the steps in beginning this journey ...????.. yes , should they get everything catered to them because they are new ..??.. NO .
Things should not be made easy for new players but there should be a better system in place as a tutorial .

Missiles need two more shots per mag. They always need just one or two more missiles to destroy when I'm reloading.

1 volley from a decent missile tank can easily kill a 3 Rep maddy. Idk what you're doing wrong other than maybe missing some of your shots? Which is the price you pay for that kind of power.

All the turrets need a nerf, IMO.
Rails need a damage nerf, first of all, in proportion to the hardener nerf. Damage mods need a nerf as well to the same degree. Other changes I'd like to see are an increase to range (provided a removal of the redline), a large increase in fitting cost, and the inability to move while spooled up.
Blasters should be able to take infantry and vehicles at close ranges; I think the. Minmatar auto-cannon should be the better AI turret though. The range needs reduced considerably as well as dispersion at longer ranges, but the damage is fine as far as I can see.
Now my pride and joy, missiles. I'd like to see an anti-shield variant missile; we're spending 60x the SP needed for the other two we should get a bit extra. As much as it pains me to say it, they need a nerf. Believe me, I love nothing more than insta-ganking some bloke's ion cannon Madrugar, but it's completely unbalanced. I think the firing needs to be changed to a 3-4 round burst of missiles farther than a full volley. However, I'd like the accuracy and dispersion reduced and the damage falloff to be removed.
I think this would allow missiles and blasters to be balanced in fights, up close blasters will shred shields but missiles could "kite" blaster tanks.
There are a lot more changes to vehicles needed.

Triple rep maddies are easily killed by a missile tank, even if its basic missiles
The only way you wont kill it outright is if you miss with a few missiles
As for the railgun its the dmg mods since mlt is the same as proto |

I have a small but annoying issue with missile launchers:
I hold the fire button, but only 1-2 missiles come out at a time, so I have to keep tapping it over and over... and that messes up my aiming and I die .
