I have noted that the #1 ranking heavy/tank combo typically earns approx. 2500 - 3500 WP per match.
What gear do you wear and what tactics do you use when you rank #1?
I'm interested in whether or not the heavy/tank combo is the trump card of Dust. Scout ck.0.
Uplink spam fit at the beginning of every match. Scan/damp/slay fit during the majority of match. Switch to uplink suit throughout match if need be. Switch to nanohive/triagehive fit throughout match if need be.
Top leaderboards the majority of the time. Its rare that I have below 3,000 WPs on any given match. Granted that is based on Domination and Skirmish game modes.
Honestly the trump card of Dust is being a good, versatile, player. Theres no specific suit, vehicle, or any kind of combo that will trump all others. If you play smart, play to help the team, play for the objective and play for the win, you will come out on top the majority of the time. |

To scouts, do you use a cloaked shotty? I've been using a range/precision G-1 scout with a RR for my mid game take downs. Or swap to a BPO gal assault with RR if the battle is too intense.
What is a triagehive fit? Do you simply spam triage hives for extra WP? I do not, nor will I ever, use the easy-mode cloak + shotgun.
I use the ACR, sometimes RR on long distance maps, and occasionally the AR when I'm feeling frisky (due to buying 1,000 Duvolles 2 weeks before the announcement of the CR and RR release. Sigh.).
My triagehive fit consists of a Wiyrkomi Triage Nanohive and an Allotek Nanohive (R). I switch to this fit when the logis on my team, or in my squad, simply aren't doing their job properly. I'll place these hives near pinch points to the objective, where the majority of the firefights happen, not directly on Supply Depots like the majority of the moronic WP farmers do. Granted I don't do this for the WP but to help support the team. The longer they stay alive at the objective the longer I stay alive at the objective. The longer we hold the objective the better chance we have of winning.
Honestly if you're having trouble topping the leaderboards send me an in game mail. I can help you with proper suit fits, which will make you a better asset to your team. As well as letting you run with us and see how we work and perhaps you can pick up a few pointers along the way. |
