Hi i really dont want to make this a long post so i am going to keep this short and sweet so let us get started shall we.
Okay i want to start by posting a quote of mine
Nstomper wrote:I only visit the forums to post posts acting like i care about the game and that ccp will be making project legion when i really dont care. i actually quit this game and the forums many many months ago heck i even forgot the dates of fanfest but it was ironic i returned tot he forums 3 weeks before fanfest. It was entertaining pretending i cared that ccp was making project legion ,not bringing dust to ps4, and basically giving dust players the middle finger. You guys could even check my k/d been here since 2012 with the lowest kills and deaths of any closed beta vet. The game was just so boring that it wasnt even worth looking at especially when ffxiv released.
Now that , that is out of the way i will say that all that was said in my quote is the truth. Now a little bit about me 2 years ago when i first heard about dust 514 i couldn't help but get interested in finding all about what this game is going to be about; especially since i love playing cod and battlefield 3. When i saw a trailer this one to be exact https://www.youtube.com/watchv=UfT_caE1KHQ it got me more excited to get my hands on this game. Once i heard about the closed beta i quickly signed up for it and was glad when they finally gave me my code. When i started playing we had one map and one game mode which back then was known as skirmish 1.0 which if you guys dont know about the game mode it was kind of like battlefield 3's rush mode. It was fun and entertaining and i thought the game would improve from there. But i was wrong. After they took away skirmish 1.0 i felt as if the game kept getting more and more stale and boring ( note i defended ccps decisions the whole way) and eventually kept taking break until i quit the game before fanfest 2013 and stop caring about the game and the forums.
Now i am back (on the forums that is)and after i watched fanfest 2014 here what i think CCP needs to improve on.
Communication with the comunity.
This is a big one and i think this is the main reason why so many people were mad about the dust keynote debacle simply because CCP waited until the last minute to roll out project legion news when they should of announced it earlier.
If you guys vote for me i promise that i will try my hardest to make CCP not hide news of that scale to YOU the community as i feel communication is the best way to make a game good.
i also believe CCP needs to really take your feed back seriously. From what i experienced when while playing i noticed for a while that CCP sort of tends to the people that nerfs most of the time more than they tend to the people that dont want nerfs. Let me give you an example, a while ago the mass driver was a great gun but it took skill to use. People were complaining that it was op when it really wasnt but ccp went ahead and nerfed it to hell and i honestly think that was a wrong move on their side.
I guess i can wrap this up by saying even though i may not care that much about the game or this company that much i do care about the community. Feel free to ask questions

As you feel that you don't enjoy the game, what sets you apart as a CPM candidate over the others that are a tad more dedicated to dust
The role of a CPM member doesn't stop at community and you can't just say "i'm going to be the community guy, don't give me other stuff besides that"

The term Community is an important part of the CPM position, indeed every candidate uses the term at some point. However it is an abstract concept, so what I would like is to hear your definition of community. No right or wrong answers here, just looking to get a better feel of where you are coming from.
