If you give Legion characters the facial customization options you give EVE players and allow them the freedom to not only customize clothes, but also suits in a similar fashion you are hitting a stream of monetization. Since EVE and Legion run on different engines I could never see them having identical facial builders or have the ability to walk together, but rending some more warbarge (which I know you guys have), rendering further into the merc quarters, and hopefully building some sort of office infrastructures in station for Legion corporations to have shooting galleries, meetings and whatnot would open up the world and social aspects much further.
The character customization along with all the possible places to go not only open up things to do between matches that are visually interesting, but it gives people more of a reason to buy those vanity items.
Now I don't want too much focus to be put on this, stick to the war game, but this could be a good place to collaborate with the EVE side WIS people and try to find ways to let both games interact. Even just silly little mini games, jukeboxes, bars, slot machines, whatever to keep people finding something else to do when they don't necessarily feel like blowing stuff up.
Would it not be great if in station there were screens and projectors similar to the captains quarters displaying news, sov changes, deals, and various other things. You could also give corps the power to buy screen space and add their sites to allow access in game to sites like dustboards, protofits, whatnot. Twitter feeds could be tickers on the bottom of screen. Just throwing it all out there.

And you think it has the manpower to take on a competely undeveloped, unrelated venture that as nothing to do with the core game itself, even though it's a thing that hasn't been accomplished yet in EVE in a decade, despite constant clamoring over it.
Very interesting. Tell me more about you optimistic view of this situation.

I guess you didn't even read my post. The idea is to use one group of people to make content for 2 games, I'm sure CCP would invest in hiring a team if they knew it would be profitable.
