Like I said, do your homework. Google is your friend, not me. LOL I hate you all.... There is a little Korean man that will SELL you the software.
So you're just not going to cater to my laziness? Fine then

Ok, after reading, it's not developed that way but some are suggesting a hack where you use the PC as a giant driver for it to work through the PS3. Out of the box, it can't be done.
Here's a link talking about that hack.

LOL You are on the right track though. There is'nt really a 'hack'. Its more like an HDMI pc input..... PC works as a 'router'.
LOL, check the date on the video of the guy using it for PS3 that used the HDMI input. I didn't include that in the post because it doesn't work well through that. That's the first thing I read about but I decided to post a more viable solution
Here's the forum where the guy discusses it
https://developer.oculusvr.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=5699
Here's the guy's response to the person who just plugged it into the HDMI input

Yes I did read it... and NO, it doesn't split into two images. You really got noting working, all you did was plug in a monitior (the Oculus Rift). You are only viewing one image on the oculus. If you take out the eye-cups and look you'll notice it is only one image on one screen. If you really want to see your console through the oculus, and I mean see it properly, as a stereoscopic image that you can play :!: Read my post here  ( viewtopic.php?f=26&t=5448#p77790 )
Also, as I've posted... I'm currently working out the process for running the gTuner (the CronusMax driver) on a particular Linux distro ( read additional post here viewtopic.php?f=26&t=5448&start=20#p77918 ) and when finished I'll post the process for using the CronusMax on Linux and Windows (in regards to mouse capture and Oculus rotation translation setup). Also, if you've truly read the second post you'll see that I'm work on a small "adapter like" device, so we all just can plug right in to a console, (or whatever) and enjoy some Oculus Rifting fun.
Here's the video of the guy plugging it through HDMI port

The hack seems more viable and offers a "truer vision" of the Oculus Rift on PS3
