Doesn't help the fact that the laser beam (much more so for laser rifles than scrambler rifles) allows enemies to easily trace the bright beam back to the origin and the shooter.
Nothing like shooting at one person in a group and then a second later having half a dozen rifles aimed at and running towards you, at which point I try to finish off the target as quickly as possible and begin running for my life.

Alright, so let me get this straight.
Gallente are going to finally start using Ferroscale plates, which means a MUCH lower HP ceiling, while the normal armor plates fit Amarr like a glove (Base speed means that speed penalties don't affect you as much).
In fact, you can brick much better than before! You can use three plates and one repairer and that will be a ferocious suit.
Couple that with the slot increase to the Amarr Assault and arguably the best bonus, and the Amarr Assault looks better than ever.
And you're complaining?

ScR isn't a really good weapon. When facing a heavy you are dead because even with my proto Assault and damage mods and Pro 4, I overheat trying to kill a armor tanked Militia heavy with prototype Viziam. ScR needs love, ScP needs Rof Buff. |

My current PROTO Ak.0 runs 6.3 m/s sprint 4.8 walk and that's with with two complex plates, what is next?? 5.9 m/s? I also got a minmitar heavy running 7.7 m/s. What's the problem? Minmitar heavy has more EHP than me, runs faster than me,walks faster than me, recharges stamina faster than me and carries the the lowest TTK weapon in the game. Hmmmm... |

Yes let me fill my Amarr Assault's slots with ferroscales then I will have a total of 440 armor... Hmm, 440 armor and still running at 7.2 m/s, still slower than my minmitar heavy.
"well use sprint mods" Yess, let me use one of my 3 low slots for a kin cats. Yep now with my proto suit left with 2 slots use one complex repair and one complex and now I run at 8/s with 380 armor, huge hitbox, and 8 repair rate. How useful right? |

Amarr Dropsuits aren't really suited for flankers, and seem to have a focus around point defense.
You don't really need speed anyways.

I'm fairly certain that he didn't mean fill your entire suit with Ferroscale Plating.
I've just made a fit that has a Ferroscale, yet still has 920 eHP, and can even push out 70HP/s reps when needed. You don't need speed on an Amarr Assault, in the same sense that you don't need eHP on a Minmatar Assault.
My fitting seems very useful, though has a large focus on Point Defense.

They can actually do lots for you when you can carry 3, have 2 active, and have 67 Nanite Clusters each. The only weakness it has is the Flux Grenade. Though you can carry 3 Nanohives, and they only have 2 Flux Grenades, meaning you'll still out-last them.
Not really sure what the problem is with you being slower than a Matari Frame. If your finding your low speed to be an issue, change suits.

more EHP, shield recharge is good. and you can switch weapon with HMG, KIN cat with complex rep. This fit is 31k isk compared to you 140k isk + fit. |
