Armor tanking is out of control. Bring back the old speed penalties.

I could see 3/5/6 or 4/5/6 but i don't think you could go above those numbers without breaking plates. 3/5/7 would be fine. The old numbers were 3/5/10, iirc. THAT was broken. With the new proposed numbers, everyone will stack Enhanced plates even more now than they already do.

Still my favorite DEV! @Booby, 7 for the complex may be just enough to break it. And yes, you are right about the old plate numbers. Can't wait to see the proposed numbers!
I think 7% would be the sweet spot. They still provide a crazy amount of HP, but they actually slow you down to the point that maybe scouts won't be stacking them. For heavies, well, maybe they shouldn't have the HP of Zeus AND still be relatively quick, especially with their rotation speed. If you want to brick tank, you should be a brick, but the speed penalties need to keep heavies from becoming a cinder block. Heavies will still be able to tank as well, since Complex Ferro will take up no CPU and PG, and provide almost the same HP as Basic Armor Plates. They just won't be the 1500 eHP bullet hose walls of death anymore.

Agreed. A small curb should be jump-able. Shoot, in my Min Commando suit, with no armor plates, I still can't jump over small obstacles or railings sometimes. I understand the concerns of heavies jumping. Heavies hopping over small curbs? Yes please. Heavies (not brick tanked) hopping over railings? Would be nice. Heavies hopping on crates and ledge to ledge? Not so much, haha.
