I'll freely concede that knives are worthless. You're better off with a pistol.
But the suit is king of skirmish, and everybody complains it can't kill.
A kin cat, codebreaker and passive scanning modules will keep your Null cannons blue and you out of trouble.
Stop worrying about K/D

Your little pub fit with the codebreaker LOL that thing would be seen and gunned down before it even got close to a null cannon. Not every weapon is designed for, or should be expected to perform in PC. Dude gtfo out knives are NOT THE ISSUE its the funkin suit.knives worked fine in PC before the Cal scout and after this hotfix you will never see a minny scout in PC again
I used to turn PC battles with a scout-fitted Minmatar logi. If you're struggling to do that with the suit the bonus should have been on all along, then frankly you need to get good.

I don't see OP moaning about KDR. Perhaps indirectly by saying how are knives (aka min scouts) useful in PC. More a "what point is there in min scout when it comes to PC" Perhaps this is an excellent balance measure - in PC.....what works. When you bring your A-game - what do you and everyone else bring? Coz that's basically what makes anything obsolete.
Combat Rifle, ScP, Flux nades, Uplink, Cloak.
Kin Cat, Codebreaker, dampener.
And watever shields you can fit in the highs/A recharger if you run out of PG.
I'm sincerely baffled by people's take on this issue. Are they expecting to walk their scouts right through the middle of the 1st or 2nd most contested Nulls in the match?
I've just never had the problem these people are talking about. And I'm far from a virtuoso FPS player.

[edit] After re-reading your post, I will assume yes....so, when you decide what to wear to PC, would you choose this min scout fit? Or would you choose something else?
Since I don't play any more, I can't talk in present tense, but this would have been the default suit. With variations on modules & equipment depending on the target.
e.g. swapping the dampener for another kincat if I was going for an outside point, or the kincat for a codebreaker for a well defended point.
