as the devs are aware it sucks to play in proto for the majority of people because no matter how good you do the isk is just unsustainable (as proven by the choice to make all suits in leigon be blueprints) but the problem is still in dust,
either dust suits need to be made all blueprints, running high tear gear lets your earn a sustainable amount of isk or im just done with the game.
I want to have fun playing the game and i can only do that in my proto, but if i cant sustain proto no matter how well i do, i cannot enjoy the game in other words making it pointless to play.
do some thing about it ccp or im done with the game for no other reason then its just not fun. not because of any of the bugs or any thing els just lack of fun.

The entire point of proto is that it's top end gear that you're not meant to run all the time.
This just looks like pointless crying over not being able to use it as a crutch 24/7.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

Please use a cup to catch all them tears. Do not use a kleenex to dry them up, they are to tasty.
I am really sorry that you can't wear proto gear all the time.  But you are pretty pathetic if you have to wear it to have fun.
Maybe if you throw yourself on the floor kicking and screaming, CCP will listen.

No offense, if you can't have fun unless you run Proto, maybe you should seriously take a break. I have some really good games in basic and BPO's, and I kill a lot of proto in the process.
I am running more proto as of late to get rid of the stuff I've saved since this game is going out...

you can't be profitable by using proto 24/7?
no ****...
just use the militia gallente medium frame it's the best suit in the game over 700 armour on a militia guy.
or use militia light frames, you can put 400-500 armour on there and it will cost you under 20K ISK.
my decent 612 armour BK guy only costs 27K ISK using militia gallente medium frame.
militia amarr frame with rail rifle etc you get the point.

Learn to manage that Isk and you won't have that problem. It's not hard running proto suits all the time, now... if you're trying to run full proto gear in every match, then it makes more sense, but that's not at all necessary. Most proto weapons at this point only do a tiny bit more damage than the advanced or basic variants and cost way more. Swap some of those out, buy your suits in limited supplies, keep a few cheap fits for Isk farming, and you'll be fine. If you're not willing to do what everyone who's not a PC farmer has done to earn their Isk and learn how to manage your funds, well... Have fun wherever you go, but I wouldn't expect CCP to bend to your whims on this.

What is the point of saving money when the game will be shut off sooner then later? Burn your assets, have fun, them quit this game like most intelligent individuals round these parts.

Here's the kicker...... PROTO is NO diffrent then advance gear. You get a FEW more HP per bullet. Suits 130hp MAX (3 bullets to deplete). I can kill ANY proto suit with 3 shots or less (thale).
I kill an average of 30+ with advance gear/basic.
Its OBVIOUS you SUCK!

First off, CCP openly admitted at one point (and I'm sure others remember) that proto was intended for special case use. Unfortunately, if you aren't active in PC you don't get to run proto every time.
That being said, some people have gained 100's of millions of ISK running MLT in Ambush.
I have never been broke in this game for many reasons. The main one is I run Ambush trains with MLT stuff.
Message me in game and we can play, I'll fund you for a bit as well. 250mil ISK to spare.

proto gear is meant to give you an edge over every one else for high risk low reward.
proto gear is not meant to be sustainable.

The purpose of Prototype gear is that you cannot be ISK sustainable.
Prototype should be dropped when you need the efficiency edge against the enemy because the fight is a MUST WIN.
Advanced I feel should be where most players sit to be ISK sustainable and have medium efficiency.

If everything were a blueprint, what would be the point of making isk?
The point of proto gear being expensive is that it is a "power only meant to be used for crucial moments". It's supposed to be a rare use set. You're not supposed to run them all day, every day. |

I have the most fun in a 15k suit. Mind you, it does have two BPOs in it, but the cost would only be increased to 21k at most. Playing with any expensive gear, I feel too pressured to save it and my reaction times suffer.
