clearly ccp does not give a **** about making the spawns a "safe" zone if you can launch warbarge strikes there so you might as well just open it up to the other team. |

Just a thought . If your spending that much time in the redline worrying about orbitals your either a red line sniper or a red line rail . So who cares.

In all seriousness, the redline is long. Too long for 16 people to control. You don't have to use the same path as all of your dumbass teammates. Flank. Go places that aren't bottlenecked for merciless kills and get around them. Chances are, if you're redlined, that their home objective is wide open and unprotected.
Nothing says "Thanks." like 20,000,000 ISK. But, I guess 20,000,000 is a bit rich for any redlined coward.

the redline is long. but its not like those doing the redlining are always grouped up in one little area once that happens. and if u do manage to get around and hack an objective.
its not like its going to last.

its not like its going to last. true but if you are redlined then the best thing you can do is try to sneak around and just hack and run (using cheap faster suits). you can try to take a LAV and hack the outsides and keep running and hacking. this will start to spread the enemy out a bit as they turn back to recover the lost points, allowing your red-lined teamates to (maybe) push in a bit. |

Sigh. More fighters and less whiners please. Knowing damn well when the game is going your way, you'll drop an OB with a roaring laughter on people in the redline. Silencio.

They should make a redline module that lets you go into the enemy redline at will.
Maybe there will be QQ about how I want to make stomps even more stompy but look at it this way. If anyone actually uses the module they're giving up a slot, so the defender will have the advantage. A proto suit performs more like an advanced suit, advanced more like basic. Another plus is that it would provide a genuine counter to redline snipers.
There would also be a vehicle version so you could take your dropship into the enemy MCC and slay the SP farmers like the SI guys used to do |

I don't get redlined. Ever. How is that stupid? I may have 15 useless meatbags on my team that think they're redlined, but I still manage to get around, drop Uplinks, hack, and merc a few stragglers along the way. Maybe even get around the squad that's redlining my useless cohorts and attack them from their blind side.
When you run solo as long as I have, you have to learn how to be effective without relying on a pack mentality - which can be beneficial in certain situations, but has obvious limitations. I refuse to accept defeat in any situation. My losses are all well-fought and I am able to accept them because I did not relent. According to my stats, maybe I am stupid. I just try not be a *****, and there's no stat to track that. (Also, no stat to track wake n' bake posts...)

or better yet, squad up so that you or someone else can drop an uplink at the point you just hacked. It's well documented that 10% of shitberries will spawn on an uplink outside of the redline just for the heck of it. If you are in a squad AND a couple of shitberries decide to participate in the match for a minute the possiblities are ENDLESS! It'll almost be like you are playing a FPS.

I'll try to push a few times, drop some uplinks. If no shitberries spawn on my uplinks I'll back out of the match. There is no point.

hmm, unless i'm running solo, i never really get redlined, and even when i do get redlined, it's not hard to get them off of it. hell, i've single handedly pushed a team from my redline when i was running solo before.
i think that they should make it so that no damage can be taken in the redline, or given out from the redline. that would discourage redlining and redline sniping/tanking.
just my 2 isk.

This would have been awesome to implement 6 months ago. Perhaps some of these shitberries would know how to play a bit by now
