Denak Kalamari was a battle-hardened immortal soldier, a feverent defender of Intaki and a thoughtful man, writing long and detailed arguments for his position on various issues. Above all else, he tried his hardest to share his experiences with others and tell about the life of a clone soldier to the general public, so that his kind would not be forgotten in history, even after their time had passed. Now that he is gone, he no longer can share these experience and stories.
He may have not been that significant in the grand scheme of things, a lowly member of a small corporation with a niche agenda. He wasn't a big player in Molden Heath, nor was he a "famous" figure within the message boards. But what he did in his little corner of the cluster was write, about his experiences, what they mean for him and how they affected himself, and the clone soldier population at large. In that little corner of the cluster where he shared these experiences, a small group of people were profoundly touched by them, including me.
To honor his legacy, I will share stories of this man, a scout, a mercenary, an Intaki, shedding light into the past and inner thoughts he spoke very little of. These are the stories of Denak Kalamari.
The first story I will share is that of endings and cycles. At the start of his career, Denak's first action as an immortal was putting a bullet through his head. At the end of his career, his last action as an immortal was putting a bullet through his head, ending the long cycle of death and rebirth. But death is not the final ending, but a path to a new life. To be reborn is to learn from the mistakes of the self you left behind, and heed those lessons to be a better person in the new self.
This is the story about The Death of an Immortal.
More stories will come when the time is deemed appropriate.
***
In addition, Denak wrote a series of stories explaining his path to the start of his cycle, becoming an immortal soldier. It was left unfinished, but I will complete it eventually. You can find the parts released up to this point from here, and I will share new ones here once they are published. I sincerely hope you potential readers enjoy these stories.

No one else would go this far in sticking to a plan, imho. Denak is gone, so I migrated to an alt to carry on writing. And I have a knack for the unusual, I have yet to see a proper Vherokior shaman here, which would be the perfect platform for telling stories. I also have alts for an Achuran and a Khanid, this one was my choice for this current task.))

And you are a Kinsman to me...... although woefully misguided. I wasn't exactly attempting to preach here, but rather make a fancy thread and a backdrop for stories when I feel like writing them up all in IC form, RP doesn't belong in DUST 514 Fiction anyway.
But all that aside, and purely OOC. What did you think of the story?

Yes, this thing still lives, I've just been suffering from an extreme case of procrastination. I have a laptop now though, so I can lay back on the perfect position for getting creative work done, so I'll try my damned best to get something out by the end of this month!

Ah to clarify.....
Every Classiarii is like a brother is arms to Kador...but Denak is the only person thus far Kador chose to have confidence in.
For example-
Arston (aero) and Kador (true) are often at odds with one another over how things are done. Denak and Kador met and became friends a long time ago on the IGS when Denak aided Kador and Satja. Kador loathes Galm, since he is a former terrorist, but respects his abilities. etc.

Alright, it's finally done. Four months of procrastination and writer's block and it's finally here! And to those who missed the first one, it can be found here. I hope you like it, do share your opinion on it too!
