so i see the cloaks at standared are like a 60 second steath and when u get proto its 80 seconds. i think the time should be 10 seconds at standared and 15 seconds at proto and the time to charge it should be 30 seconds . the time that the cloaks have now is so long i can kill 4 guys np the shorter time will make the cloaks even in the game and not so over powered. |

I agree, the length of time a cloak can be active is way too long, and a nerf in this regard would be welcomed by this cloaked scout, at least. |

Only if multiple cloaking states are introduced. It's stupid that I get the same amount of shimmer crouch walking as I do running at a full on sprint.
Still holding to the idea of making them similar to the Crysis cloaks though, in that firing your weapon while cloaked will immediately drain the energy from them.

No that's stupid why would I waste SP on something that's only gives me less then 10-15 sec and have to wait double the time.I would die half the time because of my half to decloak,now think harder next time before you tick off some people.

its becouse you guys abuse the **** out of everything that it needs to be that way so u **** heads learn to be more dicaplined in the fights and learn how to realy use the toons right. do not try to **** me off or i will force the issue so that is will happon. also if u cant see the scouts they are over powered as it is so learn to play right not useing a cloak. |

I abuse nothing I only use it to run and hide and sneak in to plant RE and get out.Nothing also dumb ass.Cloak is a damper with a camouflage Use it from behind I flanked you with a damp,from the from well not my fault you suck. Dumb ass.

You see, you've never brought up the real issues with cloaks.
The issues are:
- Firing weapons while still cloaked.
- Shimmer state. It's decided by the force on the analog stick, not player movement.
- The dampning bonus. Gallente Scouts can utilize this to be invisible constantly without using anything more than a single ENH Dampner.
- (opinion) Not decloaking when shot at.
Those are the only issues. If you get killed from behind by a cloaked enemy, they did their job right. If you get killed from the front, it's your fault for not paying attention.
The time a Merc can cloak is relevant to the SP put into them. Being cloaked for a longer time does not mean it'll increase your combat ability. It only increases the window of opportunity to stay hidden, or get to another location while unseen (to a certain extent).
I'm not defending cloaks, I'm just letting you know that they are not as OP as you think they are. The two main problems though, is not decloaking when firing and the dampning bonus. |

its still the abuse of the dum cloaks that u can shoot 3 shots and not uncloak its op it needs to chang of be lost hells cloaking is so op for the time given |
