The title says it, post your gal scout fits you use/would use in PC.
Here's mine:
http://www.protofits.com/fittings/shared/233/728
TL;DR Its fast, tanky, dishes out moderate damage, extremely stealthy, plenty of stamina, hp and ammo self sufficient, with a smaller hitbox, with only 2 cpu to spare. The only downside is it's price. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ I also use it for pubs, the armor plates and shield extenders give a very healthy amount of hp, rivaling the hp of commandos, while the racial bonuses and the cloak give a supple amount of stealth capabilities along with the increased scan radius for detecting heavies before they're in range. The ARN cloak is the highest level cloak you will need atm.
The kin cat completely nullifies the sprint speed penalty of the armor plates, bringing the sprint speed even higher than a base scout suit without armor plates. You'll notice the strafe speed is slower, but not enough to really hinder your ability to dodge bullets adeptly.
The shields do a fine job of absorbing fall damage or explosive damage, and the passive armor reps will take care of what little gets through. Though even if you're careful it's quite easy to take a beating to your armor, that's where the armor rep hives come in. They give quick armor reps, and better yet, you can use them while cloaked. They give plenty of ammo as well so don't worry about running out so long as you make the best use of your hives.
CR is OP and everyone knows it, and the assault variant goes well with a SMG. If you were to use the burst CR, and the SMG, you will find sometimes you are tapping the trigger when you have your SMG out due to habit, or sometimes you might be holding down the trigger when you have the burst CR out. It's best to avoid unnecessary confusion by using similar weapons. Trying to manually remember and prevent this will work, but if it doesn't come as second nature to you then it will distract you enough to get you killed in some cases.
Flux nade is a flux nade, everyone knows what they do and how useful they are. I don't recommend using anything beyond the standard, you only get two and the only advantage a higher level flux has is a bigger blast radius. The extra shield damage is irrelevant when the STD does more shield damage than any suit can have.
This fit works in hit and run as well as direct engagements due to the high hp and good strafe speed. Its always great when you need to get away, when all it takes is to turn one corner and the press of a button to vanish. Once you find a safe location you can throw down some ammo to hide, heal and resupply simultaneously. Not only that but for those with minor OCD, the fit makes nearly full use of its cpu and pg, with the exception of only 2 cpu.

"HP rivals that of a Commando"
Oh you mean the big slow tank that is much larger but has the same health as you because your using an OP scout to tank?
This is why the ENTIRE community QQ about scout tanking
And this is basically a slayer fit and has no real value to your team whatsoever in PC
And not even a good slayer fit at that because your constantly in need of armor reps from something and if someone blows up your hives or you run out its game over
"I also use this as my pub fit"
Wut
Your PC fit should NEVER (or almost never) be identical to your pub fits
Its two completely different environments
Of course tthat's also because I use adv suits in pubs to keep me on my toes
Please tell me this is a troll fit please
I might herniate if not
I just wrote a novel about why it's viable lol don't give me that. Not everyone wants to go cloak/shotty. This fit is basically an Assault scout. Complaining about FOTM in the war room where everyone has so much sp they would be dumb no to spec into it will get you no where my friend.
If a skilled player uses this fit, they're valuable because they have a high survivability rate, they can slay, they can ninja hack. They can run faster than anyone with similar hp to you. I'd say this suit is about as valuable as any if not more if in the right hands.
The armor rep hives are plenty so long as your careful with your hp and hives. Even if you run out armor and hives the gal scout has 3 hp/s passive armor regen without any rep modules, so no it's not over if you run out of hives. Even if you run out of hives, you're fast and stealthy enough to go wherever you damn please, you could steal a supply depot right under the noses of 6 enemies. You then restock, cloak up and run away.
Don't like my fit? Post your own that you consider superior to mine, that's the purpose of this thread |
