somebody else dont use it on theirs proto scouts? i find them useless...proto spawn and needle better imo for the squad.And with over 10m/s and damp you basically pretty much invisible...

Not a proto scout, but I don't use one on my scout. Tried it n just didn't like it, too much button pressing for something that's made useless by a good tv.
if you ever hear "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" on comms n then an explosion, it was probably me doing something stupid

Good scouting techniques are more important than just being invisible. Such as staying aware of your surroundings, always staying close to cover, always flanking, useing uncommon routes and properly picking your targets.
However the cloak does help because you have to be directly in line of sight for a red to see you when uncloaked you can be seen in peripheral vision. This helps increase a scouts survivability tremendously when the cloak is used properly.
Gun control is not about guns...it's about control.
The only way to ensure freedom is by having the means to defend it.

The cloak saved my life countless times. Espacially when i see a large group heading my way, instead of killing 1 guy and get shot by 10 people i cloak up and wait till they past me. Then i shot the guys who seperate themself from the blob. |

When I play dom or skirm I run RE's and Uplinks on my scout with AV nades, 1 complex damp, and 2 complex kinkats.
The whole point is to get to a point first and if a vehicle is waiting for me I can take it out while being quick enough to avoid the fire fight that sometimes happens.
I use the cloak for a lot of other fits though. Especially my AV scout fit with RE's and AV nades. Sometimes it is just too difficult to get to a tank without the cloak. With it, i'm able to get at least 1 RE on it and then run off if it moves. I put the cloak back on, catch it again and repeat until I get 3 RE's on the weak spot.
