Hello,
There has been many problems with the brick tanked scout and the solution is simple, make all tanking module have penalty to the suits profile. More tankin modules = increased profile that at the same time offsets the cloak.
I suggest 5 / 10 / 15 % in dropsuit profile increase. Std adv and proto respectively for both shield and armor mods.
The logic behind this is that they can offset 1 proto and 1 advanced tanking mod with the cloak but those people that brick tank will start entering the negative numbers... This not only saves the class from a direct nerf but will force those who brick tank to engage in more unwanted fights while rewarding those who use the scout as a pure electronic countermeasure platform.
Tell me what you think and why?

I am almost positive this has been discussed at length internally. I will raise it as a topic.

It makes since. If you equipped with a bunch of plates like some dark age knight, you should be clanking around with increased decibels.

You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

That or get rid of the dampening of the cloak so if they want to be visibly invisible and invisible to radar they need to use both a cloak and profile dampeners. |

Again the main problem is invisibility. whatever the armor when an invisible scout kills you in one shot. in 50% of the cases and on some maps particularly the moving scout is also invisible. Only in open ares with good light you can see moving cloaked scouts.

If your precision is high enough you can pick up cloaked scouts on your radar with high armor. |

im not entirely sure. as such an idea makes my mlt gal scout with bk 42 useless.
its got 2 mlt plates mlt kin cat.
light dmg mod. its still weaker than my un modified starter fit. my fits profile is just under the precision of most suits. i hope something like this wont make my mlt fits profile jump through the roof.
mlt vets are eternal. they shall be the bane to proto scrubs everywhere...

That would not work for my minja. I could stack dampeners all day and still be scanable at about 200 ehp. There are few enough minjas running around playing hard mode, don't make it harder than it has to be.
Taking away active dampening is a heavy handed way of fixing the problem. I think there are better solutions, like the increase to profile with plate modules.

How exactly is a brick tanked scout COD like? The biggest fail of COD is if someone shoots near you, you die.
