ok all those wondering if dust or legion will ever be on ps4.
i read the article yesterday on game informer where EvE Valkry said that it will be released for the ps4 system.
with this being said there obviously will be a dust or legion release for the ps4 We just dont know when it will be released.
i may be wrong so dont get your hopes up, but if you recieve the game informer every month like i do go to where it says what platform the game will release on and it clearly says pc & ps4.
why would ccp release a cockpit shooter EVE for ps4 without porting the matching fps with it?
does this make sence?
so people of molded moldy hell heath keep this in mind although the devs may not say anything about this im pretty sure something for the ps4 will be done.
you dont believe me read game informer page: 15
where at the top says Platform: PC PS4 realease date TBA
TBA means to be announced.

The only difference now is its also for PC

i think ccp just has to much pressure on them being in contract with sony.
my basic understanding of this game development is:
we cant do it here so lets start over on pc build it and see if it works on console after the game is fully capable of running without constant maintenance.
i know they said legion is for pc
but eve on ps4 opens a whole new door to possibilities.
and if its for both pc and ps4 them im sure legion or dust 514 will be ported over once the game is running as it should. right now the game has had the same issues for 2 years. it cannot be the devs for all this time i do hold them for lots of easy fixes that never got fixed but....
im sure alot of the issues on the ps3 dust side has to do with the system its running on.
new software is harder to run on older systems.
constant updates and such need to be ran on a system that can handle these type of things.

They are running DUST on the Unreal Engine 3
The same engine that's been around for since 2006 and that is the software they use to make dust for the most part as the engine gives you "tools" to make things in game.
This is also the SAME engine that every damn C-F ranked company that tries to put out a action video game uses to make their C-F ranked games.
Because its cheap
And yet, CCP wanted to make a 10 year, multi million user game spanning a universe as big as EvE by doing "cheap"?
That isn't how it works
Some of the best games made for last gen are using Unreal 3 like BioShock 1+2 and borderlands 1+2
And also some of the worse
It all depends on how the company uses the engine
The fact that my Basic Heavy Proto still has militia CPU/PG values, a numerical error, 2 months after 1.8 has dropped is an example of a bad company not knowing what they are doing, not a software problem.
People have been running this engine for 8 years now with some really great and fantastic results
But the quality will only be as good as the work you put into it
CCP didn't put the work in, and now their project has failed in their eyes
And the only way to correct it is to start on a better hardware system
The only problem with that, is that it just increases the graphics and size and frames per second potential
NO amount of processing power will make the plasma cannon viable, the HMG less overpowered, increase the TTK, make the Duvolle better at cqc than the rail or combat rifle, lower the insane dps potential of the viziam scrambler, make the Ion pistol usable, or even make my Basic Heavy Proto frame have Proto CPU/PG values
All these problems are because CCP is **** in their ability to make an fps work
In case argument, they had 56 people working in a full studio on that MMO project for 5-6 YEARS.
while dust was struggling along with MAYBE 7-10 people working on it in a broom closet in Shanghai
Dust failed because CCP let it with their own incompetence
Don't know what else to say

Valkyrie was always on PC and only recently got announced for PS4 when sony finally showed off project morpheus

EVEN IF Legion was coming to PS4 who da hell would want to blindly trust CCP again. I swear it's the blind leading the blind with you guys.
