CCP has been saying that Valkyrie would be a ps4 exclusive for like 3 months now
The only difference now is its also for PC
nothing new here folks

They are running DUST on the Unreal Engine 3
The same engine that's been around for since 2006 and that is the software they use to make dust for the most part as the engine gives you "tools" to make things in game.
This is also the SAME engine that every damn C-F ranked company that tries to put out a action video game uses to make their C-F ranked games.
Because its cheap
And yet, CCP wanted to make a 10 year, multi million user game spanning a universe as big as EvE by doing "cheap"?
That isn't how it works
Some of the best games made for last gen are using Unreal 3 like BioShock 1+2 and borderlands 1+2
And also some of the worse
It all depends on how the company uses the engine
The fact that my Basic Heavy Proto still has militia CPU/PG values, a numerical error, 2 months after 1.8 has dropped is an example of a bad company not knowing what they are doing, not a software problem.
People have been running this engine for 8 years now with some really great and fantastic results
But the quality will only be as good as the work you put into it
CCP didn't put the work in, and now their project has failed in their eyes
And the only way to correct it is to start on a better hardware system
The only problem with that, is that it just increases the graphics and size and frames per second potential
NO amount of processing power will make the plasma cannon viable, the HMG less overpowered, increase the TTK, make the Duvolle better at cqc than the rail or combat rifle, lower the insane dps potential of the viziam scrambler, make the Ion pistol usable, or even make my Basic Heavy Proto frame have Proto CPU/PG values
All these problems are because CCP is **** in their ability to make an fps work
In case argument, they had 56 people working in a full studio on that MMO project for 5-6 YEARS.
while dust was struggling along with MAYBE 7-10 people working on it in a broom closet in Shanghai
Dust failed because CCP let it with their own incompetence
Don't know what else to say
