I would guess that while that might be a part of it, it's probably not the sole reason.
I imagine there was more drama behind the doors of the NDA.

More that I imagine all the CPM members are under a lot of stress. As much as people bash on them, they actually do work hard at what they do for nothing in return, and recently they've been scapegoats for a huge amount of rage.
It was my understanding that initially CPM0 was intended just for a few months of work to organise the initial elections. This has, obviously, gone on for a lot longer than that. The cynics amongst us would accuse them of attempting to extend their terms for selfish power reasons or whatever but I think that anyone who believes that has no idea what they're talking about.
So all of these people have been stuck under NDA being told things that they know is going to set off the community, but not allowed to tell people - and they've taken a hell of a lot of flak, hate, and rage over it.
I don't blame them for breaking down a bit.

the only reliable thing to come out of ccp so far is that what ever you expect you will probably get two levels lower.
Your initial post was saying you were taking the negative view of the CPM, but here we're talking about the CPM. I'm a little confused here. These are separate entities.
How are you basing your negative view of the CPM off past experiences with CCP?
