So I just got an assault proto-suit and despite the constant flow of crap (assaults are dead, RR's nerfed, game's cancelled) I'm enjoying it enormously. I am, at last, competing - even tho I'm still just a pesky fly to the really big time players.
My question - plea for help - is about Squad command and the PS3 controller. How do I issue commands effectively without fumbling around and sticking the wrong symbol on the wrong target and most importantly can I get the various reticules and headings off the screen once I've put the wrong one on.
I'm struggling with this and would love a bit of help if you've got anything. I want those extra WP from squad command real bad.

There's a 'cancel' command on the squad order wheel. If you select that it'll remove the active squad orders.
Otherwise, there's not much that can be done about them being a pain to stick on people.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

Great, thanks for your reply. You know what I panic so much everytime I try to issue orders mid-battle I never even saw the cancel command. That's what you get for trying to learn as you go I suppose. I knew I would continue to suck one way or the other!

They don't appear all the time.
If the 'cancel' command doesn't come up, put a defense order on the ground. It'll say "invalid target" or something of the sort. |

It still wouldn't cancel out the current defend order though.

its just practice after doing it hundreds of time every game you will get faster. but it is clunky and a pain. and don't put it on the guy that dies a lot in your squad better to put it on a tank or a slayer.

Cool. And if I want to put it on the null canon do I just wave it over the letter wherever it appears?
