One of the things that I'd like to really see in Legion is much more immersion than we currently have in Dust.
But immersion is such a broad topic, so I'll focus on a few.
Music is supposed to set the mood. It is supposed to dictate the emotions and feelings you should be experiencing in that moment. I'd like to see much more of this in Dust (also, I like CCP's synth skillz)
There are some (3 links) pieces of Dust music that are really nice, but unfortunately they are also quite sparse.
Planetside 2 does a good job of setting moods with its Deployment music, with the Terran Republic link as an example.
There is plenty of musical material to work with, including some really good soundtracks that fans have made for EVE Online:

I've always been a big proponent of more music in game. I think some developers forget how much it draws people in. The music created for Dust wan't bad, there was just so few of it and much of it was never reused with new builds.
I'm one of those weird people who plays a personal playlist while playing EVE, but listens to EVE music in my car.
BTW the Amarr song gave me a headache around 3:00.
Also I had a similar post.
Caladari are probably the hardest to pin down.

No, but seriously, I would love to write some music for the game. I've been nerding out with the Audio guys. CCP White Noise Trash is a super chill dude in Reykjavik and we spent some time geeking out in the office studio.

I talked to White Noise Trash on the other forums just the other day.
Us and the other EVE boys were also asking for new music heh. But he said many, many times that he is not in charge of stuff like that and there is nothing he can do. |

In DUST I turn the music volume to 0, especially when in battle. It's distracting when I'm trying to listen for where things are coming from while trying to talk with my team. If you want to have music that's fine. Perhaps an option to turn it off while in battle would be good, rather than turning it off completely for the entire game. |

Think I ll just leave this here. 
The music is part of the immersion, it is as important as the environment is and always will be. I have no doubt the Legion will be much more awesome in all of these directions and aspects.

The Legion Soundtrack better be just as or greater than the great, varied, and immersive as the MAG's. It also better have dynamic music that plays/changes based on what's going on too.
