To be fair, the event team has nothing to do since Legion isn't far enough along (supposedly), so, they all get to take a much needed vacation. Today is Dance Like a Chicken Day after all. It is also National Receptionist Day (it's the 2nd Wednesday in May).

Give us some suits, give us some guns, give us some ADS (even if we can't use'em), but don't give us something that has ABSOLUTELY NO BENEFIT to anyone in the long term. You have killed off dust, and effectively stated that SP has no meaning in Legion.
You could give us all 20 million SP tomorrow for doing nothing and it wouldn't be any more or less effective in the long run than this. You are scrapping SP skill trees for Legion, so any "work" put into Dust has no persistence in New Eden.

it's more like after you creampie her after promising to pull out, and you want to do it again...
i'll take the booster... activate it, and let it run out. considering active boosters can't be turned on and off, they are pretty much a waste unless you 1) play 24/7 or 2) cap quick, which would waste the rest of it anyway.
active boosters were a joke from the start, unless they made them able to be turned on and off so we actually get what we pay for. |

The thing about getting more SP is that we have officially stated that if Legion is greenlit and goes ahead then we will be doing everything we can to migrate your DUST 514 characters over to the new game, meaning that your progress in DUST matters, and thus this is the exact opposite of "ABSOLUTELY NO BENEFIT" - it is of absolute benefit (or ABSOLUTE BENEFIT if you prefer). |

But you giys don't realise that many like me will not play Legion. Don't understand me wrong. I love Dust and I appreciate your efforts so far. Dust for me is the best PS3 shooter so far and I will continue playing as far as you continue supporting.
BUT anything concerning Legion and any PC game I dont care. Even if you develop Legion to become the best PC game ever I will not play it. I stopped 2 years ago to play pc games and I am not going back. |

This Omega Booster is basically useless for those who refused Legion on PC (most of us as far as I've seen) !!

True, if Legion is ever actually a fully released game. I won't hold my breathe for any FPS'ish game CCP ever announces again. Sure I may try it, but I won't be expecting anything close to a masterpiece. |

First let me say that I'm not here to shoot the messenger. I realize that as Dev's you are not the ones making the business decisions and like most of us who work for a living you merely following the orders you are given. As Dev's you're not the one's calling the financial shots. However, it is my belief that most console gamers are not pc gamers. So you must understand that the majority of players who play Dust will not be making that leap to Legions if it is to be a pc only game. Some dusties have already stopped playing so there is no benefit of this give away to them. I personally don't like pc games, for many reasons, but i won't waste my time here typing about why. Simply I prefer my games on console and that's my opinion. I won't be playing any pc games any time, I'm done with them. In conclusion, I will continue to play Dust, not because of the game itself, but because of the new online friends that I've made. It is a place for us to gather, chat, and have a good time, not because of the game play, but because we can all meet up there. So yes there technically is a benefit to having this 3 day Omega Booster for now and in the future, but only for the future of those making the leap to Legions.
- CCP i also hope the company has considered that not all console players are pc players and think about those who are playing Dust who aren't forum readers/responders or fanatics that are also angered that you will never hear from. Those who played Dust from Beta up helped fund Legions, but if we knew that's where our cash purchases were going a lot of us probably wouldn't have spent it on Dust.
- I hope CCP also realizes how many of us spent money on a game that we will no longer be able to play, it's just bad business. Personally I'll never purchase any CCP product in the future. You're bosses won't be having coffee and danishes in the mornings on me any more. |

Sorry I have to troll you here, but there's something wrong with anyone who isn't upset with what CCP has decided to do in converting Dust to Legions which will be a PC game. Especially after many of us spent real cash on in game purchases that will no longer be useful to us on our consoles when the game is converted to pc. Especially to those of us who won't play PC games. Also let's not forget that they aren't giving anything away. It's a small price to pay in giving up our e-mail address in exchange for a booster, but we still had to give something in order to get something. The way you use the word "giveaway" would imply that everyone would get one without any stipulation, which is not the case
