Nope. CCP has shown they are utterly incompetent when it comes to anything that isn't EVE Online.

I wasn't there to try the updated version on the Dk2 at fanfest 2014, but I did try the older build while at EVE Vegas.
I will say that no amount of youtube videos will even come close to experiencing the VR first hand. When I first put the goggles on I started to get the giggles just looking around the cockpit. It is one very very cool experience.
Like my ideas?

yeah man I know that feel. I got to try out a demo at the auto show. it was the hd prototype. dk 1 and 1/2, I guess. lol

Excited but, not expecting CCP to succeed. They are 2 and 0 for side projects and have had problems even with EVE about over hyping their capabilities.
Seeing is believing and I said as much last year, before they proved my suspicions right.

imho... this looks way better than the dogfighting module for star citizen. I'm definitely following this closely. I hope they release it with monitor support... the occulus rift looks neat and all but doesn't really seem worth it :/ |

Putting my feelings toward CCP aside, NOPE.
I am the most casual of gamers and multitask my way through everything. The idea of putting on a helmet that cuts you off from everything may be very appealing to some but I find it pretty repulsive and will most likely never even give it a shot.
Laser focused in a room full of mirrors. Everything you ever wanted coming SoonGäó just keep buying boosters.

No only dogfighting I care about is old school ps2 acecombat splitscreen.
No other game has ever come close.
Valkyrie looks mediocre at best with a mediocre actress from a tryhard cheesy tv show.
Anyone who likes that show and says frak should be taken into the forest and shot.
Dust had way more potential and CCP pissed it away.

No. I don't really care about a video game that requires a $350 device in addition to the game, the PC and the subscription fees that CCP normally charges for their games.

The consumer version is likely to be much cheaper than that.
